Step into the world of the samurai with professional instructors by your side. Beginners are welcome! The instructors are professional action actors, and instead of real sword fighting, you'll safely practice samurai movements using training swords. You can choose between a private and a group. Group class lets you join aspiring Japanese actors learning samurai action. Watch, then practice alongside them while interacting with Japanese students. The workshop starts with warm-ups, then moves on to fundamental techniques like gripping, holding, and swinging a sword. Once you master the basics, you'll pair up with a professional samurai for an action-packed scene. You'll also witness a powerful samurai demonstration up close. At the end, take memorable photos with the samurai to preserve your experience. Even just observing can be enjoyable! We had an amazing time at this samurai experience in Tokyo! The staff was incredibly fun, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. We learned so much about the history and techniques of the samurai, and the basic training and practice session were both exciting and easy to follow. It was such a unique and memorable experience — definitely one of the highlights of our trip. They also take pictures and videos of your experience. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Tokyo!

I had an amazing time at the samurai experience class! The hosts were incredibly kind, welcoming, and passionate—you could really feel their love for samurai culture. They explained the katana structure clearly, then guided me patiently through proper sword handling, stances, and cutting techniques. Everything felt authentic yet safe, and they happily answered all my questions and took photos. By the end, I left with new skills, deeper respect for bushido, a samurai acting video and a huge smile. Highly recommend this to anyone curious about samurai arts—truly one of the best experiences in Japan! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This was one of the best experiences I had touring Japan. I opted for the private lesson and my instructor Dai was amazing. The session was well organized with clear explanation from the ceremonies to fight techniques to sparring. The rituals and actions were authentic and it was seriously fun. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to get a taste and foundation on this art form. 20 out of 10 ... will do it again without skipping a heartbeat!

I have travelled to more than 15 countries and experienced various activities, and the samurai experience here was truly a wonderful time filled with the charms of Japan. I'm usually involved in communicating the charms of Japan, and from that perspective, I can confidently recommend this experience. There was also an exchange with students who actually attend, and I was able to learn in a very warm atmosphere. Especially in the kata lessons, I was able to feel the beauty and meaning of each movement, and I was fascinated by the powerful performances of the teachers. It is an experience that allows you to not only remember your trip but also feel the depth of Japanese culture.

This experience was awesome! Dai was so nice and they were really passionate about what they practice. I loved learning from them and they were super sweet. After class, they walked around with us a little bit to show us traditional places to eat and even had us try melon bread! We had an amazing time, thank you so much!

I've already had several samurai experiences in Japan, but this was really another level! The fact that the teachers are also actors made every movement incredibly realistic and powerful: I felt like the protagonist of a movie or a play. From the moment I picked up the sword, the atmosphere changed and I felt a very strong emotion, as if my heart caught fire. The intensity and energy of this experience far surpasses any experienced in the past. Even after the end, the adrenaline did not drop! DAI and Kume were not only very good, but also very friendly: I could learn and have fun at the same time. The next time I return to Tokyo, I will definitely want to repeat this experience! I wholeheartedly recommend this activity to anyone who is passionate about samurai, action or history of Japan: simply unforgettable!

Dai, my Samurai instructor, taught me the history of the Samurai fighter as well as trained me in some basic Samurai moves. He also demonstrated some more advanced moves. It was a totally enjoyable and interesting experience.
