The wooden row houses built after the war still remain, and nearly 300 restaurants and bars are crammed into an area of approximately 6500 square meters. The average lot for one bar is about 4 tsubo (about 14 square meters). When you open the narrow entrance to a bar, a somewhat bewitching and dense atmosphere prevails.
