I wish we were informed ahead of the time that the fish market was closed on Wednesdays. We didn’t get to see the fish market other than eating. Disappointing!

The auction happens at a different location now but the fish market has plenty to see and eat. Daichi was an excellent guide and did a great job keeping us in the shade during a heat wave. Lots of enthusiasm and fun to experience the market with him.

Aki was a phenomenal guide! She was very knowledgeable and took us to so many amazing places. We especially enjoyed the Wagyu, egg, and sushi. We learned a lot about Japanese food and the art of making broth. It was fascinating to walk past the places where so many chefs purchase their world class seafood. Highly recommend!!
