5.00Sachi was informative, warm, and a great guide! We were able to taste many samples throughout Tsukiji Market and Sachi explained everything so well, demystifying the whole place. The sashimi at the end was a lovely finish. I recommend going early because the market tends to get crowded later in the morning.

4.00Very nice tour an experience of the Tokyo fishmarket. We walked around also to area,s which are not allowed without a guide. At the end of the tour we tasted some Shusimi and oysters.

5.00We met Sachi at the Tsukiji Hongan-ji Temple and started our walk there. Sachi was wonderful - explained all the Buddhist customs and then guided us through first the outer, then the inner fish market before dropping us off for our sushi making class. Along the way, she explained all the nuances of Japanese cooking, how the ingredients are prepared, local folk lore, history, and it was a fantastic tour. One of the best we’ve ever had through Get Your Guide and we can highly recommend it if you are visiting the Tokyo area. Ask for Sachi - she was exceptional!

5.00Thank you to Tack for a fantastic tour of Tsujiki Outer Market. He was very knowledgeable and friendly, he stopped at many points of interest to show us some items and explained some food items which were on offer. Highly recommend booking this tour.

4.00Our family enjoyed our time with Shigeru - a kind and gentle man. The market was very busy so lovely to have a guide. We are quite familiar with Japanese cuisine so the info was better suited for first time visitor to Japan. Great sashimi in authentic fish stall at end. Shigeru kindly pointed out a nearby cafe frequented by John Lennon that we visited after.

5.00Sean was a great tour guide. He was very personable and showed us all around. We got to chat the people in the shops and go to a really lovely shrine. He gave us a nice little history of the market and japans history. 10/10 recommend. But next time I would skip breakfast:

5.00Such a great tour! At first I thought maybe we wouldn’t need a tour since the market isn’t too big, but it was such a unique and interesting experience! Our guide was Sean and he was funny and very knowledgeable! We stopped at places I would never think to stop at like pepper cafe. It was so nice not to need to do research and have the guided expertise of Sean. We tried contest winning wagyu - it’s not just seafood! All kinds of tuna and seafood plus we sampled so many other things like spices and nuts - we bought many things we sampled bc it was so good. I highly recommend doing the tour and learning all kinds of fun facts and not just walking around and windows shopping. Thank you so much Sean! Great experience! Highly recommend!
