  The three places we visited were well worth seeing. The mosque is amazing as are the views from the tower. The Royal Palace and tour along with the view back to the Parliament building are thought-provoking and the burial tombs are interesting. We enjoyed the walks from each location, though it was a long way from the Palace to the tombs! Our guide, Malik, was excellent and full of interesting information.

  As a solo female traveller from the US, I felt super safe on this trip. My guide (Malik) was amazing - very thoughtful and knowledgeable. It was a walking tour throughout the city, but honestly I liked this even more than driving/boda boda since it meant I got to see even more of the city that I would have never seen on my own. It was definitely a great experience I’ll never forget!

  Our walking guide Getrude was amazing, she was keen to inform us about history in Kampala and led us to each site. At the mosque with all the seven house of Kampala and learn about the neighborhoods then at the Kings Palace, we learned more about Ugandan history, then the tombs were we learned more about the spiritual aspects of Ugandan history.

  Very knowledgeable and friendly guide in Ben. Really enjoyed the Mosque and Palace guide and definitely hit my daily step count too.

• Uganda, a country of contrasts!

  A very peculiar culture, with important contrasts between the wealth and poverty of the people. A city with a lot of traffic, “disorder” for the Western world, but with very nice people! And with an incredible diversity of fauna and flora.

  It was my third time coming to Kampala, but has never had the time to go sightseeing. It was an educational, insightful, thrilling experience getting to know the history of Kampala and Uganda. Beautiful photo opportunities, excellent guide Ben, as well as guides at the sites (the mosque and King's palace, and the tombs). Worth seeing! Make time for this, it last half day.   Thanks Steve for a wonderful tour! We visited the king's palace , tombs and mosque ! and it was a great experience for us! You should book this if you wanna see Idi Amin's torture chambers and the view from Gaddafi mosque was super spectacular!
