Mount Kilimanjaro

After breakfast and recap, go to Marangu village and drive to Kilimanjaro National Park Gate (45 min), check in at Kilimanjaro National Park Authority office and start the ascent. Hike through the rainforest to Mandara Hut at 9,000ft / 2,740m. Taking the detour to Maundi Crater is a good way to see the surrounding area, including northern Tanzania. Mount Kilimanjaro

At around 8:30 a.m. after breakfast, depart for the hike to Horombo hut. After about 1 hour, you'll leave the rainforest and follow a steep path on open ground to reach the Horombo Hut. The views of Mount Kibo and Mawenzi are both stunning and brilliant on a clear day. In most cases, giant lobelias and grunsels get in your way. The Horombo hut is the spot most climbers use to get acquainted and spend an extra day there. Taking an extra day will make a huge difference to a successful Africa Summit. Mount Kilimanjaro

In the morning after breakfast, the hike will take us to the final waterhole, walking in the saddle of Kilimanjaro between the Kibo and Mawenzi peaks. The vegetation begins with the upper center but then disappears into a desert structure. At Kibo, you'll have dinner, take a nap, and in the middle of the night around 11:30 p.m., get ready for the summit. Meals: Includes breakfast, lunch and dinner

Mount Kilimanjaro

Around midnight, wake up to go to the top of Uhuru, the roof of Africa. The hike begins with a 5-hour hike to Gillman's Point at the crater rim. Although it is considered the easiest of the three ascents of the crater, it is still extremely challenging. The first main resting area, William's Point, is located at 5000 meters and is about a two-hour walk from Kibo Hut. Continue for thirty minutes before starting the rocky backtrack that will continue to Gillman's Point (5,681 meters). The hike from Gilman's to Uhuru Peak is a gradual climb, and the hike isn't too difficult. However, the altitude makes the hike long and tiring. The hike to the crater rim takes about two hours. Arriving at Uhuru, snap a photo of your guide and group at the summit before starting down the Horombo Hut. Stop for a while and have a snack at Kibo Hut before continuing on to Horombo Hut. Join the Horombo Hut in the afternoon and enjoy your last night in the mountains. Meals: Includes breakfast, lunch and dinner

Mount Kilimanjaro

After breakfast, end the tour by going down to the Marangu Gate. Your final hike on Kilimanjaro is amazing, passing through the Kilimanjaro Cloud Forest. Watch your steps on the way down as the trail can be slippery. Our car will be waiting for you at the Marangu gate to take you back to Moshi
