Safety is our priority, in order for you to enjoy the experience to its fullest we may have to slightly forward or delay your start time after reservations are made, to avoid heavy flow of people and betterment of the experience. The notification will be sent by email the evening prior the tour.
** If you're traveling with a group but reserved your space separately, you have to notify us that you're together. The chances of being assigned to different tour guides are high, and changes can't be made on the day of the tour **
We recommend shoes that you won’t mind getting wet and muddy, that have a good grip and thick sole. Sneakers, water shoes or hiking sandals that cover your toes are the best option. Be mindful that sandals, flip flops, croccs or slides are not allowed as it can be dangerous once wet or muddy.
If you’re using UBER services you can use “Deli Plaza Loiza (Norte)” **KEEP IN MIND we have no affiliation with Uber nor we have any way to change the location or the names in their systems. The name provided for the meeting point in Uber system can change at any point, confirm location through your map and the location of Norte Shopping Center, San Juan.
Pictures AREN’T part of this experience, if you’d like to bring your phone with you keep in mind you should have a waterproof pouch in order to protect it as it can get damaged during the excursion. Some guides will take pictures which they will share after the tour is done. It’s not their obligation to send this pictures to you after you’ve parted ways

El Yunque National Forest
We visit the East side of El Yunque Rainforest to enjoy a 25-minute hike to the first waterfall. There you can enjoy the landscape, swim in the water, rope swing or free dive from multiple heights. Further up after a 15-minute hike, there is another watering hole with a natural rock slide and cliff jump into the river. Learn of the history of the rainforest, iguanas, guava trees, bamboos and 100 year-old trees. This is an adventure good for those looking to enjoy nature and an a very authentic Puerto Rican rainforest experience. We end the trip by having lunch at a local small family owned restaurant that serves authentic home-style food (not included in price). Good physical condition required as hike is in pure nature, muddy and fun. Our team of local guides focus on showing the best of the island for an unique local experience.

5.00Our tour guides were amazing! Some of the walk was a little difficult but they were there to help us up and down the rocks. They let us know when the rocks could be slippery and what to avoid. I wouldn’t have been able to get the water slide without there help. Great guys!

4.00We had a fun and wild experience on this half day trip to El Yunque. A couple of tips that we would have found helpful: 1) You can pack a towel, change of clothes, water, snacks, etc. but there isn’t really time to use any of it. When you get off the bus all your belongings will be stored for the entirety of the experience in El Yunque and you won’t get them back until you’re getting back on the bus to go to lunch. If you’d rather just stick it out with the wet bathing suit, you’ll probably be fine. There also weren’t great bathrooms available and we did not have a chance to use them until we were at lunch so be prepared for that. 2) Bring plastic water bottles, not reusable ones. We carted ours hiking and it was annoying to keep up with. Just have a plastic water bottle you can easily dispose of (properly of course) or leave the water altogether with your things before you start. The hiking to the water activities is not difficult and we didn’t need it. 3) Be prepared to move fast and be adventurous. There weren’t a whole lot of instructions given so be ready to just go for it with the waterside, cliff jumping and rope swing. Be very careful climbing if you do the waterside. It’s a lot of fun but you need to be comfortable scaling very slippery rocks. Be very aware when you’re in the water as it moves quickly. If you’re not a strong swimmer I wouldn’t recommend doing the water activities. The lunch and drinks were delicious. We had a good time even though it was chaotic! For a first time experience to El Yunque for the classic tourist spots this was fun. I’d love to be able to return to see more of the rainforest and appreciate its natural beauty. This was more crowded and an experience focused on fun.

5.00Fun walk up into El Yunque swimming in the rapids, rope swing. Definitely slippery sir slippery surfaces so wear good shoes for traction. After swimming, we changed and went to a lunch stop. Well organized activity with friendly staff..

5.00We had an amazing time. Definitely one of my favorite things we have ever done on vacation. Gian was our guide and he made the whole experience even better. He took videos of me and my family so I didn’t have to bother with my phone at all. If you are on the fence about the excursion I would suggest doing it. I will book through this company again when I am in Puerto Rico next time.
