Learn about the historical importance of the River Torrens surrounds and gain an understanding of how Adelaide is progressing as a city and why it's been ranked amongst the top liveable cities in the world!
The cruise will take you past the Festival Center, Adelaide's SAHMRI building, beautiful parklands, Adelaide University and more.
Questions are always welcome and picturesque photo opportunities a given.

The Popeye isn't conventionally wheelchair accessible BUT if patrons are prepared for 6 steps up, over and into the boat with handrails it is possible. The Skipper will lend assistance. This may be difficult for those with walking disabilities or using a wheelchair
Seats are assigned as general admission with a capactiy of 48 passangers per boat. Avaliablity will not be known in advance of the cruise time. Popeye operates on a 'first come first served basis'.
Subject to favourable weather conditions. If canceled due to poor weather, you will be given the option of an alternative date or time

5.00The cruise was an excellent experience. It travelled down to the river weir barrage and then up river to the zoo The crew did an excellent job and there was a good commentary. TIP: catch the cruise to the zoo (you can reboard a later boat to complete the cruise).
Nice and comfortable boat ride in pleasant way to get to know something about Adelaide.

4.00A very pleasant and leisurely ride on the beautiful river, with the charming and very informative captain/guide. It was fun learning about the history of the city of Adelaide, and getting some local input in stories that we might not have found out about otherwise. All in all the pleasant afternoon.

5.00The boat pilot worked hard to provide an entertaining and informative commentary despite the obstacle of boisterous and noisy young children. The cream tea was delicious and portion size tremendous. My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed it and would fully recommend it.
Well worth an hour of your time!

5.00We loved our River cruise - the captain was entertaining and knowledgeable and talked about the history of the river and the boat company with photos to compare the changes. Seeing the turtles close up was fun and it was sucha hot day, that a trip on the river certainly coed us down as we were shaded.

5.00Beautiful cruise along the Torrens. Staff were exceptional and provided excellent knowledge and insights of our surroundings. As a local living in Adelaide I believe this is a must do experience!
