Cane Gardens Bay gets its name from the sugar cane which is still grown in the area to this day, Cane Garden Bay is famous for the various activities that are offered in the area. It is a favorite for sailors, sunbathers, swimmers and water sports enthusiasts.

5.00As it turned out, we were so glad that we booked our trip to Cane Garden Bay Beach through Viator and not one of the cheaper independent taxis. It was worth every penny to have a safe, reliable driver. To get from the cruise ship to the beach you go over a very steep mountain road with lots of twists. And to make it more exciting it rained on the way back. But we were not worried at all because we felt completely safe knowing that Viator only hires very reliable drivers.

5.00Bobby took great care of our family when we were in Tortola, and made our experience very fun. Communication was excellent and everything ran so smoothly! We were able to rent beach chairs and umbrellas for a good rate as well as snorkeling equipment, and the nearby restaurant and bar was so convenient!

5.00Vincent was a kind, knowledgeable driver who got to Canes Bay and back to the port safely. He gave little gems about Tortola as we made our way to the beach. The beach was beautiful, it was one of the highlights of our trip!

1.00DO NOT book this trip with this awful company. We had booked some time in advance of our ship docking in Tortola only for this shoddy company to take our money then cancel the trip at 2210 hours the day before it was to happen and whilst our ship was at sea and we had no Wi-Fi so we had no idea it was cancelled until we arrived in Tortola and we were waiting for the trip to take place. This shows they have no regard for people and no customer service whatsoever. I would avoid them at all costs unless you want to be totally let down like we were. They do not deserve to have any customers if they treat them like this. Thank you for spoiling our day in Tortola.

5.00Great smooth transport to the Beach with a friendly guide. Beach was lovely and had a lovely day. The toilets were not great - the ladies were blocked and unable to use - paid $20 dollars for 2 Sun loungers and an umbrella.

5.00This was a gorgeous beach! We met Bobby at the info desk, clear directions from Viator made this easy. We climbed in a clean and air conditioned van and headed up Andover a narrow, windy mountain road to this bit of paradise on the other side of the island. Bobby was an expert driver - the hairpin turns and oncoming traffic were no match for his skills. The beach was lovely (just $25 for two chairs, umbrella, clean bathrooms and WiFi for the day) and several large groups arrived after we did. We had a quiet beach to start the day! Bobby met us for the return trip and expertly navigated traffic and the wild roads to get us back to the ship in plenty of time!

5.00We had an absolutely wonderful day at the stunning Torola Beach! The golden sands stretched invitingly before us, kissed by the gentle, sparkling waves. Our driver was exceptional, navigating the scenic route with ease and sharing fascinating stories that added to our excitement. Once we arrived, the service at the beach was impeccable, with attentive staff ready to cater to our every need, ensuring we felt pampered in paradise. It was truly a memorable experience!
Convenient but significantly overpriced for a short ride

1.00Transportation was punctual and the driver was friendly and shared some local information, which we appreciated. However, this excursion is essentially just a 15-minute ride to and from Cane Garden Bay. After arriving, it was clear we could have taken a local taxi for a fraction of the cost. If you’re looking for convenience and guaranteed return to the ship, this may work for you, but for the price charged, the value simply wasn’t there. I wish the description had been clearer that this was transportation only. The lady was so rude that you rent the chairs from and after you're done at the beach there is NOWHERE to rinse off before you go back.

1.00I paid 70$ for nothing ! I had to pay the driver 48 $ for transport to beach and 20 for chairs not worth the money. I thought the 70 covers transport. The driver had a Paynes taxi sign and charged me another 48$ rounds trip to beach . I want my money back . Do not go on this tour . It is a rip off
