  Alejandro gives a full, fun, and informative experience in Toulouse. Not to mention DELICIOUS! At each stop there’s a new story accompanied by a gourmet creation he whips up before your eyes. We learned so much about Toulouse and left totally stuffed. This tour was the most creative and fun food tour we’ve ever experienced. Alejandro is very knowledgeable and super personable and professional.

  Alex’s tour was incredible. Obviously it was informative and showed you interesting parts of the city, and obviously the food was delicious and fit the history, but his choice of stories and foods to highlight were better (for me) than any other tour I have been on.

  Absolutely a worthwhile tour. Whether you’re familiar with Toulouse or a first time visitor, Alejandro is a friendly host who delighted all of us with a well crafted itinerary, thoughtful presentation of historical and cultural info, and culinary skills, all while keeping things fun and interesting.

  This was one of the best walking history/ food tours we ever experienced. Alejandro and his food cart walked through historic Toulouse, and we had delicious pastries, food, cheese and wine at 6 different stops at major points of interest, and he had an interesting story to share at each stop. Only the wine and cheese was at a shop called Betty, famous for sending cheese into space with the first French astronaut to go to the ISS. The total walking distance was about 3 miles, plus the distance from our apartment where we stayed. Highly, highly recommend.

  

  

  

  

  

  

  

• Perfect Way To See Toulouse

  We had an incredible tour with Alex in May 2026. He has such a talent for sharing about the history in Toulouse and then tying a food experience into the history. Alex has done a fantastic job gathering his information, selecting the perfect settings, and dishing up wonderful bites. If you haven't been to Toulouse, this is the way to start your trip! Alex was also such an endearing person and our group had a great dynamic together. If we are in Toulouse again someday, we will be doing another tour with him! For our tour, Alex selected 6 sites, 6 stories, 6 bites over about 4 hours. He lead us with his mobile kitchen (he described as a Mary Poppins bag and he was absolutely spot on) to each location. Then he uses his tablet to show a short picture presentation while he speaks about the location. After each presentation he shares a bite with us. We had chocolatine, choux with pastry cream and caramel, goose leg rillette on toast, white bean salad with sausage, a stop at a fromagerie for 3 cheeses and a wine pairing, then ended the day with coffin pie. Things to know before you go: Eat a very light breakfast if at all in the morning because you will want to have plenty of room for all of the delicious food, bring a water bottle per person (Alex offers water halfway through, but you'll want your own as well), wear comfy walking shoes, and dress in layers. Also, enjoy! Alex, amazing job, thank you for the food, history, and memories!

  This tour had excellent food and was a good blend of history, culture, and good eats! The tastings were really well chosen, and often tied to a particular location's story. I really enjoyed this tour and highly recommend to others!

  Booked the tour with friends as something a little different. We weren't disappointed. Chef Alex was a most excellent guide (in perfect English!). Funny and informative and of course a provider of delicious locally sourced food. The 4 hour tour flew by in a blur of tastes and historical knowledge of the Pink City.   I cannot recommend this walking tour enough. Alex speaks very good English, even though that is not his background. The tour took us to 6 locations in Toulouse. At every stop he gave a detailed and comprehensive talk relating to the history of each place, and then produced a food item. I particularly liked the rillettes he magically prepared in the Capitole Square! No need to go for lunch after our 4 hour walk. He followed up at the end with an email reminding us of what we had experienced, I appreciated that as it was hard to remember it all. A very personable young man who deserves every success in his business. Thank you Alex, you added to my Toulouse experience.

  Relaxed, conversational, and truly informative, this tour strolls around the center of Toulouse while introducing its fascinating history, architecture, and of course regional cuisine. What could be better than doing all this while snacking on Chef Alex’s creations at each stop, each course related to some aspect of Toulouse’s history or culture? Really great fun, imaginative and creative, it’s a progressive picnic conjured out of a delivery bike!

  This was one of the best food tours I’ve ever taken, and I’ve taken many food tours all over the world. Alejandro has really spent time putting together a tour that connects the history of Toulouse with its food specialities. The idea of using a bike with a trailer is brilliant - it’s efficient and he is able to provide the best products the city has to offer (and as an experienced chef, he knows what those products are), even though the stores may not be on the route.
