Njegos Mausoleum
In a 45-minute visit to the Njegoš Mausoleum, tourists can experience: The impressive architecture of the mausoleum, located at the top of Jezerski Peak (1,660 meters above sea level), the final resting place of Montenegro’s ruler, poet, and philosopher Petar II Petrović Njegoš. A monumental sculpture of Njegoš and two stone female figures (angels) created by the renowned sculptor Ivan Meštrović. A breathtaking panoramic viewpoint, offering spectacular views across much of Montenegro – on clear days, the Adriatic Sea can also be seen. A tunnel carved through the rock and a stairway leading up to the mausoleum, providing a memorable walk through the pristine nature of Mount Lovćen. This timeframe is enough to explore the site, enjoy the views, and take photos.

5.00We had a great time with Lazar. He is a Cetinje native who speaks excellent English. We learned alot from him about Cetinje, the Lovcen Park, and Montenegro. It was great seeing the Mausoleum and then the new overlook of the Lovcen cable car that has an unparalleled view of Boka Bay. $20€ price per person is a very good deal. Highly recommended!

4.00Nice and attentive guide at all times. I recommend guided tour to get there, as the roads are quite narrow and when it comes to parking it can be a bit chaotic, not highly recommended for people with vertigo at heights.
