5.00We will forever remember this tour with Francisco!. Francisco was an excellent host, we couldn’t ask for a smoother experience while visiting two palaces, and the coast, and not to mention how knowledgeable he is with historical facts and current workarounds for the at times chaotic tourist attraction areas. This made the experience stress free, highly recommend.

5.00We had an amazing experience touring Lisbon, Sintra, and Cascais. Our guide Fransisco was incredibly informative, entertaining, and friendly throughout the entire trip. He shared so much history and local insight in a way that kept both the adults and kids engaged and interested. His energy, professionalism, and warm personality made the day feel relaxed and enjoyable from start to finish. The itinerary was well organized, the pacing was perfect, and we truly felt like we experienced the beauty and culture of Portugal in a memorable way. From the stunning views in Sintra to the charm of Cascais and the rich history of Lisbon, every stop was special. 5.00Francisco is a wonderful guide and this is definitely the way to see Sintra and the Lisbon coast. Francisco give you all of the historical and geographical information you might want but he tailors everything to his guests’ preferences and interests. 5.00This is the tour to take! Francisco is absolutely wonderful. So focused on making sure that you will have a wonderful time and see and do everything that is important to you. He is extremely attentive and thinks of everything, going way beyond the basics. Francisco provides historical and geographic background and loads of pointers on what to see and how to access it. We very strongly recommend this tour with Francisco!

5.00The Sintra Tour from Lisbon was absolutely outstanding. Our guide, Francisco Basso of Lisbon Daytrip, was a true professional from start to finish. He picked us up right on time at our hotel and, during the drive to Sintra, shared a wealth of insight and history about Portugal, Lisbon, and Sintra that really set the tone for the day. Once in Sintra, we stopped at the famous Piriquita bakery, where we tried an original Travesseiro and a Queijada de Sintra - both were genuinely life-changing. From there, we entered Quinta de Regaleira right at our scheduled time. The Initiation Well, the grounds, and the mansion were absolutely stunning and lived up to the hype. Next, we headed to Pena National Palace. Unfortunately, the weather turned rainy and foggy on the way up, and due to time constraints we weren’t able to tour the interior. This is the one thing I would do differently - either allow more time for the interior visit or plan a return trip specifically for it. We finished the day in Cascais with a wonderful lunch, gelato, and some relaxed shopping. Francisco then dropped us off at Praça do Comércio near the cruise terminal, which was very convenient. Overall, this was a fantastic experience. A private tour is absolutely the way to go, and I can’t recommend Francisco Basso and Lisbon Daytrip highly enough.
