  I was very apprehensive to book a private tour when in port on a cruise. Obviously concerned about making it back before the ship left. I read lots of reviews and finally pulled the trigger on Roatan Driver. I could not be happier with that decision. From the get go they were very responsive and kept in constant communication. We saw all of the things we wanted to see, cheaper than the excursions, and it was just the two of us with our driver. We got to learn so much about Roatan and the region and felt a personal connection with our guide. She really wanted us to know what the REAL Roatan was like. Shout out to Vanessa! We couldn't have asked for a better driver/tour guide for our adventure. And A+ driving skills for getting out of those difficult parking spots. I don't know how people can navigate the parking around here.

  Jessy is amazing. She's a total professional and provides wonderful customer service. We used her for airport transfers as well as island tours. Her communication (whatsapp) was great and she is very flexible and dependable. Every time she showed up right on time. She grew up in Sandy Bay and as such is also a great resource for information about the island. She works with drivers all over the island so that if she's not able to get to you she will usually be able to find a driver nearby to help you out. We called last minute for a ride from West Bay to Sandy Bay and she had a driver there (Jairon) in under 5 minutes. We will definitely use her services every time we visit Roatan.

  Before the trip: Great communication via WhatsApp. Punctual pickup, very well maintained and modern car. Very pleasant care. We had individual location requests, all very well. Very fair price. Really recommendable!

  Jessi and her husband took us on a private tour of the island. They adapted the tour to what we were interested in seeing. We had a great time visiting some beautiful sites, a chocolate factory, some shops, and a brewery. They were both really fun and shared a lot about Roatan. The price was very reasonable. We also used Jessi for airport transfers. We highly recommend their service!!

  Cannot have had a better experience! Communication was prompt and easy. We met our driver Geral as instructed without any issues. He had a very clean and well maintained vehicle and was a very defensive and safe driver. Our private tour took us to the Roatan Brewery where Geral and his wife are well known and liked. Our drive back to the cruise port included a short tour of West End. We will be back shortly and using Roatan driver for a tour again.

  I contacted Roatan Driver back in early 2025 planning a cruise for the summer. They were very quick to respond via Facebook messenger, and right off the bat based on reviews and friendliness it seemed off to a great start. I was able to submit a reservation and be assured for the spot I wanted months later during the summer when my cruise ship docked. We also discussed the details of everything we wanted to do and they allowed me to customize the tour to my liking and my groups liking. The cruise ship will charge you a bunch just to go see the sloths and they included this along with a lot of other cultural suggestions all in one spot. It’s hard to get a good touch of the culture in such a limited timeframe and in my opinion, trying to get a touch of the culture through cruise ship excursions is not the way to go… and I felt like Roatan Driver really looked out to make sure we could maximize our time. This is important to me when time is all you have. As months went by I reached back out about a week and a half prior to the cruise. Once again, very prompt response and friendly saying they will be there. Upon cruising and landing at the port, once funneling out to the main road where all the non-cruise excursion people were… among the crowd I was able to find the sign for “Roatan Driver”. From there, all I can say is that everything went according to plan and they went above and beyond. I fortunately got the owner of the business and her husband. They were f***** awesome. She’s got a really cool story. I don’t wanna ruin it, but if you get a chance to go with them, ask her about her story and how she learned English. I’m going to share some photos from the trip. Pretty much if you want anything customized for you just start talking to them and she’ll work it out with you and the rest is your adventure. And you can go on the whole trip and pay them at the end if you prefer the rest assured no matter when you pay them you’re going to get a great tour.

  Exceeded our expectations!!! We contacted Jesy Alvarez for a private customized tour, and she seamlessly made the arrangements. Juan Moncada was our driver and guide and he was outstanding at both. We chose to visit Carambola Gardens and take a mangrove tour (for which Juan arranged a private boat). Juan offered additional suggestions for activities. Juan not only had great ideas, but also listened to us carefully about what we wanted to do. Thanks to him, we got to experience so much more of the island than we expected. Communication from start to finish was fantastic. I highly recommend Roatan Driver for any private tour or transportation needs.

  Jessy is a great tour host! Picked us up at our hotel in West Bay & took us all over the island with lunch at Blue Bahia in Sandy Shores.. went to Chocolate Factory, Rum Factory, Craft market, Daniel Johnson’s Sloth & Monkey Hangout👍. She was friendly, responsible & very knowledgeable about the island.

  We used Roatan Driver for airport transportation to and from, shopping and getting to our dock to go fishing. Jessie, Juan and Jose were great. Always on time and accomodating. We were a group of 8 and we could always rely on Roatan Driver. We were able to put all our trips on a tab and pay at the end which was very convienent. 3 airport trips, 3 fishing trips and a shopping day. They are very knowledgable about the island as well. Thanks Roatan Driver!

  When planning a visit to Roatan as part of a cruise, we wanted to get a break from the crowds and set off on our own schedule to Gumbalimba Park then West Bay beach, but I didn't want the hassle of trying to find and haggle with a taxi. Jessy was perfect. I let her know my itinerary and paid a small deposit in advance. Communication was great, she was prompt, and we always felt safe and taken care of. 100% recommend.
