Tower of London Beefeater tours are included in admission and are open to all visitors that day. They commence every 30 minutes from the Tower of London moat. The meeting point and next tour is signposted upon entry, but a member of the Tower of London admissions team will be on hand to assist you should you struggle to locate the meeting point.

1.00I have done the Yeoman Warder tour at the Tower of London before and it was great. This time, they’re doing construction on the west gate entrance and that wasn’t noted on the meeting location from Viator so people had no idea where to meet their tour guide. Also, there were 207 people in the tour group. It was insanely large for one person to manage and be heard in such a crowd. I understand there are crowds in the summer but at least half of the group could not hear the guide even when he was speaking as loudly as possible. If you were right in front of him you could hear him do a great job. If not it was a waste of money and shame on the tower tour management for not having more tour guides at peak hours, or giving their one guide a microphone.

3.00It was confusing where to go. I had to ask around to realize was not some special tour through Viator but the same as the entry ticket you’d get at the ticket booth on location. Turned out the included guided tour was cancelled due to the heat so we had to either pay more for audio tour equip or just go around on our own. Very confusing and I would not have done it if I knew tour was canceled. Long lines at each “exhibition” although it moved quickly. Just buy the tickets at the location when you wanna go instead of feeling like you’re committing to an exact tour time. No benefit or difference buying through Viator except planning our day around this meet up time which was a waste.

1.00They randomly cancelled my tour without refunding me. Given the excessive heat, I understand why they would cancel it, but they never gave me a refund nor advanced notice it would be cancelled. I had to walk around the tower alone and never got my money back.

5.00Set out early, see the Crown Jewels first before the crowds. Loved the Ravens and animals exhibit but loved the Raleigh exhibit the best
