Within the ancient Fortress, the Tower of London, visitors can gaze up at the imposing White Tower and marvel at the priceless Crown Jewels.

Tower of London Beefeater tours are included in admission and are open to all visitors that day. They commence every 30 minutes from the Tower of London moat. Our tour guide Ash was amazing. He was charming, full of knowledge, and his timing was great to see all the sights at the right time. Changing of the guards, the band , perfect photo ops and great restaurant REC’s too!

Visiting the Tower of London was an amazing experience. The site is exceptionally well organized, making it easy to explore while fully enjoying all the historical highlights. What truly sets it apart are the actors and staff, who bring the history to life with their knowledge, performances, and friendly guidance. Their presence creates an incredible, immersive atmosphere that makes you feel like you’ve stepped back in time. We booked the Tower with Crown Jewels tour and booked the first tour of the day. We met our guide Flora who was very knowledgeable and gave us a good history of the site and then once through the gate, we were met by the Yeoman who spoke to us about opening the tower for the day. They were actually pretty funny and then we were on our own to explore. We went right to the Crown Jewels as that tends to get crowded. The exhibit was very interesting to see the crowns and other items you see in historical photos and the moving sidewalk past the crowns was good as people tend to stay too long as we find with other exhibits. We explored the rest of the site and found the armor and armory to be interesting. As we were leaving, we noticed the large crowds waiting to get in, so we were glad we did the first tour.

So much to see, great history and great exhibits. Busy but no real queues so all good. Decent value given being there for several hours.

Exvellent afternoon spent at the Tower of London with my daughter. Fantstic exhibition of armour watching the guards changeout and see the crown jewels. Place just oozes history

Well worth a visit! We had a tour, Nev was absolutely brilliant, engaging and kept us all entertained. Our children were not bothered about the tour but after said it was the highlight of the day! We loved the Crown Jewels, mesmerising, I saw them about 20 years ago but they were even more beautiful today. The Ravens were interesting and the different towers. Honestly make sure you visit, it was the highlight of our visit to London.

Yeomans tour was good but not enough to keep a child entertained for 60 mins, so many adults making their way to the front of the tour so kids couldn’t get near or hear. Coffee and hot chocolate were both awful (£4) and no one around to complain to as no one in the cafe makes eye contact to speak to you once you’ve been served and paid. We went on a weekday during half term so it could be an off day but glad of the free entry with a boundless card - id have been irritated to pay for it. For a Royal Historic Place we found it absolutely wanting. Go, to say you’ve been but it’s not an enjoyable day for a day out. It’s like they just know the money is coming in and so don’t make it special, enjoyable or even manage the crowd well. Lots of dithering staff who can’t help or choose not to.
