Within the ancient Fortress, the Tower of London, visitors can gaze up at the imposing White Tower and marvel at the priceless Crown Jewels.

Tower of London Beefeater tours are included in admission and are open to all visitors that day. They commence every 30 minutes from the Tower of London moat. The meeting point and next tour is signposted upon entry, but a member of the Tower of London admissions team will be on hand to assist you should you struggle to locate the meeting point.

5.00Such a great experience that I can recommend to anyone! We are big history buffs and love learning all about previous royals. Was a bit disappointed not to see any of the Crown Jewels, like a tiara or a necklace etc but understand! Still appreciated seeing some of the more ceremonial and ornate pieces. We easily spent half a day looking around the grounds and the tower, seeing the ravens etc

5.00Visited on a January Saturday and walked straight in to see the Crown Jewels, no waiting. Outside were queuing barriers marked “40 minutes wait” so glad I came when I did. Lots to see around this extensive site. The royal armouries exhibits in particular were very good and the Tudor graffiti in the Bloody Tower also really interesting.

1.00Paid for 1 hour beef eater tour, but sadly no tour signage or guide anywhere to be found. We walked around the grounds, and just did our own self guided tour reading the placards. Overall disappointing experience.

5.00Loved pre booking and gaining points by booking through Viator. Picked earliest entry time so was able to get into the Crown Jewels and exhibits before crowds mounted during the day.

5.00A very enjoyable day out the reviews we had read said 2-3 hours to get round but this was an understatement we could have been there all day, Seeing all the armour from throughout the years was very interesting and probably our favourite part along with the tour we had with the beefeater, Very funny and very informative. The only negative was it was very busy and we had to qué for every different part, The longest being the qué for the crown jewels, We were lucky it wasn't raining when we went just very cold but on the plus side the café/restaurant was large and not extremely overpriced so we could warm up in there and there was lots of seating.
