Our chef will introduce you to the culinary journey ahead, sharing stories of local traditions and the importance of fresh ingredients. Menu: Raki tasting A variety of seasonal appetizers and meze Village chicken with pershesh Burek with cottage cheese Sheqerpare (traditional dessert) Guided by the chef, you’ll roll up your sleeves and start cooking step by step. You’ll learn traditional techniques, from rolling dough for burek to properly seasoning chicken for pershesh. Throughout the class, you can sip on unlimited homemade wine and take part in a raki tasting to fully experience the local flavors. Once the cooking is done, you’ll gather around a communal table to savor the feast you’ve created. By the end of the class, you’ll have not only learned how to cook beloved Albanian dishes but also immersed yourself in the warmth of local hospitality and culinary traditions. 5.00We had a wonderful experience at this Albanian cooking class. The atmosphere was incredibly warm and welcoming, making the whole session feel relaxed and enjoyable. The class was very interactive, allowing us to get involved in every step of the cooking process. The instructor was highly qualified, patient, and passionate about sharing Albanian culinary traditions. We learned how to prepare delicious traditional recipes, Sheqerpare, Byrek and Pershesh that were also accompanied by locally produced wine and raki which made the experience even more authentic. Overall, it was a fantastic and authentic experience — perfect for anyone who wants to discover the true flavors of Albanian cuisine. Highly recommended!

5.00It was a fantastic cooking experience. The atmosphere and organization were excellent, and the mentor was very prepared, cheerful, and professional. The hours pass by unnoticed while drinking raki, wine, and enjoying appetizers, laughing and collaborating together as a group. I recommend it to all tourists visiting our country to try it as an experience by cooking our traditional dishes. Besides the experience, the food is fantastic. Thank you, Cooking Class Albania, for this grateful memory and experience.

5.00Great value for money. Got to meet fellow travellers from around the world visiting Tirana. Cooked 3 dishes together and then we all sat and ate them together whilst sampling Raki and drinking red wine. Cooking Instructions were clear and the class ran at a good pace. Good to understand the background of the dishes and when they are usually eaten! Far too much food so don’t eat before you go!

5.00Had a fantastic time at the Albanian cooking class with Maris. It was a hands on class and everything was explained super clearly, well explained, and very well organized and prepared. Along with the advertised dishes and drinks, we had nibbles, a great appetizer, and delicious salad and bread. We left stuffed and happy. I would recommend this class to anyone who comes to Tirana - it's a fantastic way to spend the afternoon!
