Our chef will introduce you to the culinary journey ahead, sharing stories of local traditions and the importance of fresh ingredients. Menu: Raki tasting A variety of seasonal appetizers and meze Village chicken with pershesh Burek with cottage cheese Sheqerpare (traditional dessert) Guided by the chef, you’ll roll up your sleeves and start cooking step by step. You’ll learn traditional techniques, from rolling dough for burek to properly seasoning chicken for pershesh. Throughout the class, you can sip on unlimited homemade wine and take part in a raki tasting to fully experience the local flavors. Once the cooking is done, you’ll gather around a communal table to savor the feast you’ve created. By the end of the class, you’ll have not only learned how to cook beloved Albanian dishes but also immersed yourself in the warmth of local hospitality and culinary traditions. 5.00Very well prepared and organized. Nice atmosphere. Great traditional Albanian food prepared. Everything was very delicious. There was so much to eat and drink that one couldn't manage to eat everything. Learned a lot. The chef was great. A very successful evening. A definite highlight of my vacation.

5.00Go hungry! The food we and Maris prepared was delicious and plentiful. A mix of fresh veggies like tomato and cucumbers, and prepared dishes with chicken, breads, spices, broth and a little bit of sugar and butter (kidding). All accompanied by fresh appetizers like olives, nuts, and yogurt cheese dips, with delicious raki and red wine. Impossible to eat it all, but we tried! Maris (a credentialled Albanian chef) explained all and provided recipes! A great Albanian experience!

3.00It was a nice and fun afternoon. However, it had little to do with learning and cooking Albanian dishes. The dishes were mostly already prepared.

5.00This was a very enjoyable introduction to the cuisine of Albania in a convivial group with an excellent host. The chef/instructor, Marius, had prepared lots of the ingredients and accompaniments in advance and there was no shortage of food, wine and raki for us to eat throughout the afternoon. The group was composed of people of various ages and nationalities each with different levels of cookery skill so it was a little bit slow for me but no one was left behind. I especially appreciated the chance to stretch our own filo pastry and make a byrek. The location was easier to find than I expected, just near the Intercontinental hotel, and the premises were well equipped for the activities and a correct respect of kitchen hygiene. It offered excellent value, given the length of the activity, the instruction and the food and drinks.

4.00This was a lovely afternoon with lots of food but I feel that it was more a tasting class than an actual cooking class. I had never been to a cooking class prior but I expected it to be more hands on if I am honest! Would have preferred if it was more interactive in that sense but I can’t fault value for price and the food was delish! Favourite being the byrek with onions and tomatoes and the cornbread with the dip

5.00A friend and I took this cooking class and really enjoyed ourselves. There were 3 groups of two and a group of 6 friends and the class was full. The amount of cooking was perfect for non cooks and enough for people who like to cook and the learning about Albanian culture and food was wonderful. There were great adaptations for vegetarians for some folks in the class. I've taken cooking classes in many countries and this was one of the more enjoyable ones. There were several additional salads and dishes to eat along with what we cooked and I had food leftover to take for later, which I wasn't expecting. It was a great half day and well worth doing.
