5.00Although you have sample plates & walk around to various food outlets, you won’t be left hungry. Virginia was lovely & extremely knowledgeable about Cretan food, people & it’s history. It is well worth the money & the places you visit are ones you definitely wouldn’t find or naturally try as a tourist.

5.00An amazing experience, our host was Virginia, and she was wonderful. She took us to local restaurants, bakeries, and other authentic places. The food was delicious everywhere, and we could really taste the huge difference compared to the places we had visited before. One of the most impressive stops was the place where baklava is made in the traditional way. We realized that it is not just a craft, but truly an art. We definitely recommend this experience. There was a lot of food, so it’s definitely worth coming hungry :)

5.00Virginia was a great host for our food tour. We had special attention as there were only two of us. The stops were all great with places and dishes we may not have tried without the experience of her knowledge. I am vegetarian and was well catered for. We will certainly try some of the places again and also recommendations for the rest of our trip. We would highly recommend this trip to anyone looking to experience local flavours.

5.00Fantastic night with the lovely Virginia. So kind and knowledgeable. Really made my holiday. Food was fantastic and of course the raki. I had to turn down the snails dish, not my cup of tea but they said they were delicious . Don't eat before you go, you get plenty. Thank you once again and wish Virginia a very happy life with her new baby Andriana.
