The travelers will travel to a local house located in the village on a Bullock cart through the paddy fields where after they will learn about many authentic cooking practices taught by the House wife itself. enjoy a herbal tea made on the spot and feast on a delicious traditional homemade snack and home gown fruits such as Banana's and pineapple. afterwards hop on a Traditional catamaran and ride through the lake overlooking Sigirya rock. later enjoy a Traditional home made lunch made from organic vegetables and fried fish caught from the lake.

5.00BEST EVER EXCURSION!!!!!!!!!! We have been on tours around the world and this was prob one of, if not, THE best one yet. Not just the value for the money, but the overall immersive experience was unreal! LOVED it. Infact, we would have gladly paid five times the price. And by the way, it’s is always a PRIVATE tour!!

5.00Best low cost activity we have done in Sri Lanka. The lake is stunningly beautiful and the lunch prepared from local produce and fish from the lake was delicious. Best meal I we've had here, so plentyful that we didn't want dinner. Book directly with the operator in Sigiriya for 12 USD pp Couldn't upload video of the lake but you won't be disappointed

The food was absolutely delicious, real home-cooked Sri Lankan dishes. Highly recommend this tour if you want a genuine local vibe and a tasty lunch!
