The introduction sounded like an extreme sport experience (ie. „always use two hands”, „mind the steps on the slides”, „use the break to not overspeed”, etc.) but in reality it was tooo slooow. I can understand the safety-first policy or smaller children in the group, but for 10+ yo. Ones it was way below the expectations. For real this should be improved. Especially for such price.

The husky ride exceeded all expectations. The dogs are incredibly fast, energetic, and at the same time very cute. The atmosphere was truly magical, and the experience was unforgettable. Highly recommend this activity to anyone visiting!

Excellent experience. Cat (our guide) was very friendly and knowledgeable. The dogs were brilliant. The facilities were all new and clean. The time with the dogs was perfect. My only "even better if" bit of feedback was that the pickup instructions were unclear. Knowing the brand of the taxi and the exact pickup location (inside the hotel lobby, rather than outside the hotel as I had wrongly assumed) would have made it more relaxing. But this is absolutely minor and I appreciate that the taxi was included in the booking for simplicity.

I cannot emphasise how much I enjoyed this experience! My top priority when first researching Husky Adventures was to check if it had an ethical practice, and BabaHusky definitely met that requirement! From reading the story about Baba and how Baba Husky came to be, I knew this was the kind of business I could support, one that didn't feel like a business and more like a family! The dogs were so excited from the minute they saw everyone, jumping for joy hoping to get picked. The ride itself was incredible and being the Musher was so much fun!! My friend and I had the best time and we were singing Christmas carols the entire way :D The staff were super friendly and helpful, shout out to Jedrzej who led our safari and gave us the information in the hut afterwards as we warmed up! You can tell they really care about the dogs and were happy to answer any questions. The only thing I wish was that there was a little more time to cuddle with the huskies afterwards. You do get time to pat them and say hi, but being a dog lover I would've loved maybe an extra 10 minutes with them to really soak it in. But that is the only thing that could be changed, everything else was 100/100 and I would go back in a heartbeat to experience this. As we were walking back to the hut to change out of the ski gear we were saying how much we would've loved to stay another few hours doing it we had that much fun!

We struggled to find their website but it was a total success, for price and experience. Camila welcomed us with a smile and accompanied us all the time showing us the dog enclosures and answering all the questions we had... and there were not many. Then she explained how to drive the sled and we went out to do the route with her leading. In total we stayed about 25 or 30 minutes of route with the sleds and halfway we stopped to take some pictures. Upon returning, the children had a good time playing with the dogs and then accompanied us for a hot chocolate and some cookies in a cabin with a good fire to get warm. Dogs look very well kept and clean. They have just moved to this location and all the clothes and boots they lend you are practically new. I definitely recommend anyone to come here for the punctuality, the length of the walk and the friendliness of the staff, especially Camila. Thank you so much for the nice time!!

There is business — and with business often comes greed. There are seasonal activities — and with those comes unpredictable climate. My experience in Lapland recently highlighted both of these truths. Arriving on our second day of winter, we naturally expected snow, beauty, and cold. Instead, December 2025 gave us +6 degrees and rain. The Husky safari company we had booked with called us on the morning of the activity and offered the option to cancel due to the lack of snow and poor conditions. I was genuinely surprised. Every cancellation means lost income for them. No matter the weather, the Huskies still need to be run, fed, and cared for, and all operating costs remain. The fact that this couple running the safari put the customer experience first — above profit — is exactly why I highly recommend them. They run the business themselves, and from what I understand, they also have a young child. Balancing life, dogs, weather, and customers is not easy. Seeing their empathy and passion was humbling. Even though conditions weren’t ideal, we chose to continue with the safari. They provided us with a guide (understandably, since driving the Huskies ourselves wasn’t safe in the wet conditions). Yet my three-year-old still had the experience of a lifetime. Travellers need to remember that the climate is changing, and operators cannot control the weather. They should not be punished for things out of their hands — especially when they are still willing to give you the best experience possible. Let’s support these small operators so they can continue to grow and survive. The Huskies had been relocated from previous years, and the couple has built a beautiful little establishment. I wish them nothing but the best in the future.
