Snow is the undisputed protagonist of the winter season that leads to experiencing anecdotes that become indelible memories for life. Everyone experiences winter in a different way.

With 38 lifts, 1,200 hectares and 53 slopes of different levels, Cerro Catedral offers different alternatives so that both adults and children can experience a day full of emotions and fun.

This walk takes us to the main winter sports center, located 25 km from the city, where all the infrastructure is to enjoy an impressive view. The Cablecarril departs from the base, a means of elevation that takes the traveler to the highest part of the mountain, where you can see the Chilean volcanoes and the entire mountain range in all its splendor. You will have af ree time (2 hrs approx.) descent and return to the city.

Villa Catedral

El camino inicia por la avenida Bustillo hacia Llao Llao. Tras pasar la playa de Playa Bonita, giramos a la izquierda en el km 8. Al llegar a Virgen de las Nieves tomamos el camino de la derecha. Pasando por el centro salmonicultor, se llegará a Villa Catedral, al pie del cerro homónimo. Esta estación de esquí cuenta con todas las infraestructuras y servicios necesarios para estar al nivel de las estaciones de esquí más famosas de Europa. Desde la base parten varios ascensores que conducen a diferentes andenes, que cuentan con bares y restaurantes para todas las necesidades. El descenso total se puede realizar esquiando (en invierno) por las diferentes pistas, en teleférico o en telesilla. Las actividades adicionales no están incluidas en el coste del tour y en este caso, como escalada, esquí o snowboard, se contratan en el acto.
