  Oh Bahrqin , how wonderful you are !!! We had a layover and decided to make the most of it — and thanks to Ali, we truly did. From the moment we got in touch with the agency, Ali was incredibly kind, welcoming, and eager to share the beauty of his country with us. In just a few hours, he managed to show us the essence of Bahrain: from historical sites like the cemeteries and the museum, to the spiritual beauty of the mosque, to the modern skyline of Bahrain Bay, the iconic bridges, and so much more. Every stop was filled with stories, insights, and beautiful photo opportunities. My sister and I had a wonderful time — it felt like discovering Bahrain through the eyes of someone who truly loves it. And that made all the difference. Ali, your passion for your country is contagious. We’re so grateful for this experience, and already hoping to come back — because four hours was simply not enough! Thank you again for everything. This little detour turned into a core memory for us. Until next time, insha’Allah!

  I contacted Ishtar Gate tour to take a 4h stop-over tour in Bahrain on my route form Asia to Europe. I had 9h overlay and decided to visit Bahrain rather than sit in the lounge at the airport. Immigration services are very well run, the visa-on-arrival took 3 minutes and 5 BHD. Communication was excellent throughout via WhatsApp. Ali, my guide, picked me up at the airport arrivals in a very nice SUV. Throughout the trip Ali was very welcoming and offered, water, sweats, chewing gum, snacks, etc… He’s a highly professional tourist guide - something uncommon in today’s tourism industry. We visited the Bahrain Fort late in the evening, and Ali was impressive in the description it’s history and it’s hidden secrets. We then proceeded to visit other sites across Bahrain, both archeological and modern. In the process Ali was very nice to stop at different places to try out local delicatessens - Lemon juice, dates, Tikka Kebab, and more… A lot of these details would be missed as a wandering tourists, and in my opinion it’s what makes a difference on a stop-over tour. Bahrain is a nice place to stop on a long journey via Bahrain. The airport is impressive. Top service throughout - 9/10 The price of the tour is a direct relationship of the service you get. Well worth it.
 TBH, no cons whatsoever.

  We had a 7 hours transit in Bahrain which reduces to 5 hours due to delay in flight. Our tour guide was well informed, polite and very fluent in English. He also accomodate changes which we did during tour. The vehicle was Nissan Patrol and aircon was working good compare to the scorching heat outside. We started our tour by visiting Al Fateh grand mosque and then headed towards Bahrain Grand prix cicuit on the way we also saw Bahrain Burial mounds ( UNESCO Site) After that we went to Bahrain Bay which was a good experience. Overall, it was a wonderful quick 4 hours tour of Manama Bahrain. I recommend it if you are transiting and have more than 5 hours.
