Kolsai Lake
This is a lake of amazing beauty, surrounded by mountains and pine forests. If you wish, you can take a boat or catamaran ride around the lake. There is also a cafe where you can have lunch. The menu includes pilaf, lagman, manti, shish kebab, and salads.
The water here, due to its purity, is almost invisible, and the surrounding landscape with mountains and green meadows will complement the charm of this place. We will travel to the lake from the village in UAZ vehicles and, at your request, on horses with experienced escorts.

5.00Had an unforgettable time exploring Kazakhstan with Panda Travels! From breathtaking canyons and dramatic gorges to stunning lakes, scenic horseback rides, and joyful road adventures, every moment was truly memorable. What made the experience even more special was the incredible team. Their media services—cameras, videos, and even drone footage—added so much value and helped capture every highlight beautifully. A huge shoutout to our guides: Rostam, who was approachable, always smiling, and incredibly helpful and generous; and Luba, who brought unmatched energy to the trip. She kept our spirits high, turned even the bumpiest rides into fun moments with her music, and shared fascinating stories and history that made me appreciate the local culture even more. The rest of the team was just as supportive and welcoming. Since we visited during their "Nauryz" (New Year) celebration, they generously treated us to traditional bread "baursak" and a unique horsemilk drink "Nauryz Kozhe", which made the experience even more authentic and special. It was an amazing adventure from start to finish, and I highly recommend Panda Travels to anyone planning a trip to Kazakhstan!

5.00It was dark when we started the trip but then our day just got brighter and brighter. Our torch bearer Adam! was excellent. The first Kazak i talked in Engish before it was just hand signs. He gave a comprehensive explanation which match the reality. Expectation was low but experience was HIGH!! Thank you for the beautiful trip memories etched in eternity.

5.00The tour went so well and agree with most of the reviews that the van was very comfortable it helped with the very long day touring those magical places. And our tour guide, Luba, was so nice -- she did an incredible job, friendly and warm and she takes good photos too!

5.00simply amazing, all places cover with good time for pictures. transportation was very smooth and on time. As a tour guide, Karina is really nice and explain to us each places thoroughly, nicest thing is Karina act as our friend during the whole trip and communicate to us like she knows us for a long time. the trip was also amazing due to members from different countries who are very kind, compassionate and friendly. For me this is certainly memories that will never fade away

5.00Adam and our driver, “the Captain,” were excellent throughout the day. It’s an early start, but Adam sets expectations well from the beginning and clearly explains what the day will involve. He’s very personable, and his English is excellent, which makes conversation easy. Throughout the trip he shared interesting factual knowledge without going into too much depth, and he gave balanced insights into life and how things work in Kazakhstan. It’s a long day, but Adam looked after everyone and made sure we all had a great time. Also, host Adam is very friendly and kindly took took me to watch my team arsenal in a local bar the next day!

5.00Almaty has so much to offer and this 1-day tour to Charyn Canyon, Black Canyon, Kolsay and Kaindy lake is a must have experience which was made exceptional by Panda Travels. Amazing service and guidance throughout. Our guide Amina was very professional and friendly, spoke Kazakh/Russian/English, made engaging conversations and ensured everyone was having a good trip. We had our food near Kolsay lake which was prepared in advance and had good taste. Amina had planned everything impeccably as per time scales, gave background info of each spot and accompanied the group on the hiking trails. Sufficient time at every spot to take pics and immerse in stunning landscapes. Highly recommended to book this day tour with Panda Travels.

Our tour guides, Rustam and Armina, were absolutely fantastic. Armina's fluency in English made it easy to follow along, and her ability to explain all the details about the sites we visited significantly enhanced our experience. Rustam's passion for the landscape and history of the areas we explored was contagious, and his insights truly made the tour special. 5.00Panda travel is professional and punctual. Mr Adam the guide was very courteous and his English was also good . The captain ( driver) was very good too , his driving was so good that we had a good sleep while he cruised from one spot to the other.
