You want to go on a great day trek close to Bariloche, we will provide you with a fun adventure really close to the city. Our hiking options in Bariloche include a broad range of alternatives for different levels of fitness and experience. We will assess what is best for you and guide you up and down some beautiful mountains enjoying the wilderness and views of the Lake District. Single day hikes allow you to return to the comfort of the city and your hotel after a day of exploration. Let us know your goal for a fun trek and we will make it happen!

We tailor which trail to visit depending on your fitness and experience level so you really enjoy the suroundings and wilderness of Northern Patagonia. 5.00We spent an excellent hiking day with Juan: the trail was physically challenging but the view from the top was stunning - really one of the best sceneries around Bariloche which makes GC you feel humble surrounded by the awesomeness of nature. Juan was really cool to chat to about Argentinian life and local nature - this made our journey entertaining and the time run very quickly. Really a great way to explore surroundings of these beautiful places in Northern Patagonia. Pack up some layers and hiking shoes and enjoy!

5.00We went on a three day hiking trip between the Frey and Jakob Refugios with Juan from Andemita. The trip was nothing short of amazing. We had breathtaking views and diverse nature (mountains, lakes, forrest) across all days and the stay at the huts was a very exciting experience. The level was great, with variety between more slow paced and more challenging parts of the route. Juan is a real star - knowledgable, entertaining, and super warm and friendly. He brought different local food and snacks to try during the three days, and gave us so many recommendations for Bariloche and the rest of our trip through Argentina. And A+ English. Would recommend to anyone visiting Bariloche.

5.00We did an amazing three day hiking trip with the best guide Juan! We were four people on the trip, and Juan instantly made us feel welcome. On the hikes Juan made us feel safe and comfortable, he guided us in the best way possible. The trip itself is amazing, the views are spectacular and the huts we stayed in were cozy, the food was nice and the people were very warm and welcoming! If you ever find yourself wanting to book at hiking trip itself Bariloche, book Juan!!!! It was the trip of a lifetime!

5.00Absolutely amazing hiking trip! Did the 3 days Frey and Jakob hut hike, and it was incredibly beautiful - but more importantly, our guide, Juan, was the kindest and most caring guide I have ever had while hiking! He took care of everything, made us all feel safe, and was so nice and fun to talk with. Would highly recommend booking him (and his company) for any trip in the Bariloche area :)

5.00Juan did a great job setting up and guiding us on a beautiful 6mile hike. Great communication ahead of time, smooth pickup from our hotel, a great hike picked out, fun and informative conversations throughout the day, tasty lunch (including bringing a gluten free lunch for one of our party), extra water and plenty of suggestions for other spots to try out on our travels. He’s a great guide we’d highly recommend.

5.00Today we had an amazing hike with Roberto in the San Carlos de Bariloche mountains. It was a 7-hour treck, not the easiest one, but certainly one of the best we have had in Patagonia. The beauty of this place is stunning. And our private guide Roberto was exceptional. In 5 minutes after he picked us up we became friends. Roberto told us a lot about history, geography, flora and fauna of Patagonia. We had an unforgettable experience and definitely would like to come back.

5.00We completed a five lagoons Mountain traverse with Juan Carlos, and it was an exceptional experience. We spent hours and hours on the trail, yet they’re never seem to be a dull moment. Juan always had a story to share or just the right word of encouragement to keep us motivated and moving forward. Juan kept us safe and expertly guided us through each section of the trek and the many obstacles that are part of a journey like this. He made sure we always understood what was coming next, how long each section would take, and the type of terrain to expect. His deep knowledge of the local environment – plants, animals, and terrain – kept us confident and well prepared throughout. Juan shared wonderful stories about his family and took a genuine interest in ours, creating a warm, personal connection along the way. Each day was fueled by delicious meals made with fresh ingredients, high energy, breakfasts, and lunches, and thoughtful hydration, and snack breaks. Evenings included tea and coffee debriefs before dinner, often capped with bonus cakes and cookies. Juan’s familiarity with the trail, campsites, and fellow guides made every stop feel welcoming. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with Juan and highly recommend him as a guide. His professionalism, warmth, and experience are what made the trek so enjoyable. We have trekked all over the world and this was our most memorable experience thanks to him and the beautiful mountains and glacier lakes of Argentina.
