Half-day trekking in which you will enjoy a personalized activity.

We will walk paths where the colors of the mountains will motivate us to interpret the different geological processes.

The middle section of our route passes through a mud maze with vertical walls over 40 meters high.

When we reach 2700 meters / nm we will rest, enjoying a unique landscape alone, maybe the condor will fly through our place of rest. The sun, the clouds, the wind will be our only travel companions.

I offer you an activity in which we will walk 8 kms approximately. The circuit is located on the outskirts of Purmamarca being an exclusive place for which other people do not enter.

It is a pleasant journey in which we will share stories about geology, native plants and their medicinal use, as well as the history of the region.

We will take a few kilometers away from the town to enjoy an exclusive path for those who choose this activity. Thus we will begin to appreciate the magnitude of the landscape, conjugated with the geological interpretation. It will be a path in which we will not find or cross other people. The trek consists of making the 4-kilometer journey across the dry river bed where the geoforms in geological sediments were carved by the action of wind, water and pachamama force. When arriving at 2700 meters / nm we will rest for a lapse of half an hour approximately to then undertake the return. It will be an activity of 4 hours approximately where I will tell you about the history, the native culture and the flora as medicinal use. It will not be a competition of time and effort, but a bearable activity and according to the physical conditions of the participants. I invite you to discover nature at its best on this path where we will share anecdotes and lots of energy.

Excellent guide. Fabricio is super handsome, charismatic, and knowledgeable about Jujuy. He answered all my questions delightedly (and that was many). Without a doubt it is an excellent company and guide to spend the day excursion.

We made an exit to the Jair Narrow and, Yala Lagoons. Fabricio offers you a very rich experience and attentive to all the details. I hope I can go back and do the night trek. I'm looking forward to it. Highly recommended. If you go to Purmamarca do not hesitate to hire him.

We went on a tour with Fabricio Suruguay to a location of Blossfeldia lilliputana (smallest cactus species in the world) (to one of the many quebradas in Jujuy/Tumbaya). He put a lot of effort into the preparation, went back to the site the day before, as this species is not easy to find. The tour was very individually tailored to us. Since I already have a lot of experience in spotting plants and also have appropriate scientific education, I was also able to search for and ultimately find the target plants myself. In addition to many other cactus genera (Gymnocalycium, Leucostele, Parodia, Rebutia, Cleistocactus, Opuntia,...) one could also spot various species of Tillandsia and much more. If you take more time, you will surely find more. All in all highly recommended. It is best to plan your tour individually, according to the respective target plants and communicate this clearly with the guide in advance. He then informs himself about the respective locations, guides visitors there, so that nothing stands in the way of fun.

You get to see landscapes you never saw and never imagined. The difficulty is medium and you are doing well if you follow the advice of Fabricio. It also knows a lot and we learned a lot about geology, culture, history and much more that makes the experience enriching. Highly recommended

My wife and I enjoyed our hike with this outfit. Our guide was patient and knowledgeable and spoke English well. The views are great, the terrain is beautiful and while the fauna and flora are minimal, what you do see is interesting and starkly beautiful. I recommend that you accept the offer of ski-pole like walking sticks. (Even if you've never bothered with them before). Most of the paths are made up of small and med. sized rocks and at times you are walking on a sort of 'knife's edge' with a precipitous plunge on one side or the other (and sometimes both) so those walking poles will reduce the give you some confidence or at least reduce the stress of those hiking with you.
