The main destination of this sightseeing tour is Maracas Beach, the most popular beach on the North coast of Trinidad. After a historical and architectural view of Port of Spain, you'll journey via the Saddle Road to this beautiful getaway. Magnificent views await you on this 3.5 hour journey.

The tour starts at the old lighthouse and proceeds to the Brian Lara Promenade. Here you'd find several modern buildings including the Nicholas Towers, Twin Towers, and the Treasury Building. Moving through the city heading northerly on Abercromby Street to Woodford Square you'll pass right next to the famous Red House which is the official house of Parliament.
Queen's Park Savannah
Continuing from the city, we pass next to the National Museum as well as our National Academy for the Performing Arts. We then move on to the Queen's Park Savannah. Scattered around the Savannah are exhibits of our past European architectural heritage, the Magnificent Seven buildings. Lastly, we make a stop in the Royal Botanical Gardens.

5.00What an incredible experience! Immediately when Jeffrey picked us up it felt like he was like an old friend. He was very kind, heartfelt, and knowledgable. It was a blast spending a few hours with him doing the Port of Spain / Maracas tour. I highly recommend anyone traveling to Trinidad to book a tour with Jeffrey. I went solo and it was great.

5.00A lovely drive with a knowledgeable tour guide/bus driver with a great sense of humor. (I wish I could recall his name, but his bus was called "God's Favour." Loved seeing the Port of Spain area and then moving along to higher vistas with views. The botanical garden was a little underwhelming, but our guide there was full of info about the different trees we saw. My favorite stop was Uncle Sam & Sons for the Bake & Shark, a delicious sandwich recommended by our driver. Overall, a lovely way to see the island and get a little taste of local flavor.

5.00Jeffrey was our driver. He was polite, professional and friendly. He was very helpful and patient in answering all our questions. He gave useful information about the geography, culture, diet and the people of Caribbean Islands. He also gave some useful information about what to do for our other activities.

5.00My visit to Trinidad was fantastic and a lot of it had to do with the Trinidad Highlights and Scenic Drive Tour done by the local guide Hayden Whiskey who is quite knowledgeable and passionate about his job. He took us around the city and explained the history of Port of Spain and the things within. The view at the lookout is magnificent and Maracas Bay is breathtaking, the Bake & Shark and other local street food is everything I expect and more. Thanks to Mr Whiskey for making the memories I have of Trinidad a great one and he will always be remembered when I think of my vacation there.

3.00An email from the tour company told me to meet them at a nearby hotel. I went there only to find no one. Back at the cruise terminal, I had to use my expensive international phone to call the company. They gave me another number to call. Finally, a man showed up and said he was my guide. He was a kind, good-hearted man, but didn't seem to know much about the history of the island. We spent a lot of time stuck in traffic and boucing along on potholes. Nice to see some of the island, but not the greatest tour.

2.00I'm really convinced we were put on the wrong tour by mistake as we didn't see any view point of a the beach. We didn't even leave the main shopping area near the port. As nice as the tour guide was it wasn't at all what we expected or paid for £120 was a shocking price for what we received. The tour was meant to last 3.5 hours and we were back on the ship within 1 hour 50 minutes . I think this all came from a lot of confusion at the port area as nobody had a sign we then called the number on the booking and was told to go to an informed kiosk who were very friendly and polite and pointed us to a guy in a white shirt (but no sign or branding) he then shouted over to a guys who said "your tour is with me" like I said the guy was friendly enough but the tour was really poor quality for the money we paid.
