El Yunque National Forest
La Coca Falls, the first spectacular feature upon entering El Yunque National Forest, welcomes visitors with an 85-foot (26-meter) drop. A huge rock formation at the falls' base offers an ideal photo opportunity. Yokahu Tour offers panoramic views of the coast and rainforest canopy from its 98 steps, a favorite stop for visitors along road 191. Bano Oro, a man-made stone dam with an 18-foot (5.4-meter) deep pool, was built for recreation in 1936. Though no longer for swimming since 1976, it remains a beautiful spot filled with water from an upper branch of La Mina River. Puente Roto is a popular water play area, offering swimming in a natural rainforest river. While no trails currently exist, the road provides easy hiking access to the river corridor.
Luquillo Beach
A row of around 60 family-owned kiosks selling food, drinks and souvenirs. These kiosks vary in style, taste and price, all are open air, and some face the road while others face the beach. A laid back, casual atmosphere to kick back and have a bite.

This was a great experience, the daytime guides are super knowledgeable and friendly. I only wish there was more to do at El Yunque. It felt like the drive was longer than the actual stay there, feels like not a lot to do there compared to all the videos I saw regarding it. I do not recommend the night time kayak unless you have done kayaking before (or at least a good swimmer/not scared of the dark 😂). We went during the down season so the planktons were not as visible as you would think, but still was a fun experience. Overall it was a great experience, Luquillo was great, and I would go with these guys again.

We felt privileged to have Angel as our guide. He educated himself in so much Puerto Rican history and shared so much knowledge with us. He was also extremely warm and friendly. We felt like we made a true friend in just a matter of hours. We toured the Yunque with him first then he dropped us off at the beach for a few hours we later on got picked up and taken to kayak at night. We had a great time!

Such an unforgettable day! 🌴💦 El Yunque was pure magic and Luquillo Beach was paradise. Perfect mix of adventure and relaxation — 10/10 recommend! The Pina Coladas at Luquillo is a must try 😋

The trio tour was a great experience for the whole day. It gave us a taste of many of the biggest attractions of Puerto Rico without the hassle of planning it ourselves. Rafael was an excellent tour guide which enhanced the experience even more. The pickup location was very convenient and nothing felt rushed throughout the experience. Make sure that you bring bug spray for the kayaking if you are prone to getting bug bites. I did not and I regretted it.

Beautiful drive and fantastic view. Some beautiful waterfalls to climb if you dare! A tower had the best view from the top. Not a bad climb although it looks daunting from the bottom.

Rent a car and go see the rain forest on your own time, the beach break portion had lots of great restaurant's and shops- the beach was filthy - lots of trash....the bio bay canoeing was about 20 minutes there and a total of 15 minutes to see the glowing plankton which I included covering your head with a tarp with other canoe guest....not worth $300 total for the two Of us- if it was half the price, it be worth the time. The transportation and knowledgeable staff were amazing!! Save yourself some money and do this excursion on your own time.

We very much enjoyed the view from the lookout tower, the short nature hike to the river (my young adult daughters LOVED swimming in the river) and the light rains in the RAINforest. :) We would not have needed as much time at Luquillo Beach but the shops/kiosks were fun to visit. USE BUG SPRAY for the bio beach kayaking. Great trip out--too crowded with too many tour groups on the way back but a very fun evening despite the bug bites. Snacks/water after are a nice touch. It was a long day, but would do again.

Avoid this company. The tour company tried jamming two trips together at the expense of our “ TRIO” of adventures. We signed up for a day hiking in El Yunque but we only did 2 roadside stops and then a short trail to a river to swim. Then instead of seeing more things or a decent hike, we got left at a low end strip of tourist food stalls and restaurants for FOUR HOURS. Loquillo Beach is average but lots of garbage everywhere. Most of the trip that was active was fine. Raphael was an OK guide. But we were left for 4 hours at Loquillo Beach in the rain doing nothing. After lunch we had a walk the length of the beach and then had to sit for hours waiting while it rained and the surf was too rough to swim. The biobay kayak was good. Overall, beware of Peniel Tours. They don’t have their act together.

The tour was better than what I expected! Rafael was our driver/tour guide to El Yunque and Luquillo. We had Angel picking us up from Luquillo Beach to bring us to the Bio Bay then back to our airbnb. The drivers were on time. They both were awesome, respectful, and explained what we were to expect. It was so much fun. I’ve never done kayaking, so we kept crashing into the trees in the lagoon, and Joe the bio guide had to come and rescue us a couple of times, lol. I would definitely do it again!
