Experience the Norwegian Way of Winter Join us for an unforgettable cross-country skiing adventure on Tromsø's snowy trails, where you’ll discover the beauty of Norway's winter landscape and learn the basics of "langrenn," a sport close to the hearts of Norwegians. This 2.5- to 3-hour session includes everything from instruction to practice, with time set aside to pause and enjoy the incredible surroundings. Meet & Gear Up: Arrive at Charlottenlund Aktivitetspark for free parking, or take bus 26 to Skoglyst. We’ll fit you with skis, poles, and boots. Please provide your shoe size (up to size 47). Basic Techniques: Learn balance, glide, and uphill/downhill movements, with step-by-step guidance to help you feel confident. Explore & Sightsee: We’ll ski through trails with stunning viewpoints over Tromsø's snowy forests and mountains. Capture photos along the way! Break & Refresh: Enjoy a warm toddy and Norwegian sweet treats at a scenic rest spot, soaking in the tranquil surroundings. By the end, you’ll have new skills, beautiful photos, and an authentic taste of Norwegian winter culture!

3.00The instructor was very pleasant and friendly but there was minimal instruction - he showed the group what to do but there was no checking on technique or any individual help - the younger members of the group were fine but the older ones less so .The setting was lovely .

5.00Amazing experience! Was coached by Emma, she was very patient with us and always had a kind smile on her face even when we fall over and over again 🤣. We all had a great time. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a cross country ski experience in Tromso!

5.00A great, if a bit more strenuous than expected;) Experience! Communication in advance was really great and a change to another coach due to illness worked without any problems. If you hesitate – do it! To experience the landscape, the whole nature around Tromsø in this way is something completely different. Even if you, like me, have never stood on skis before – the coaches explain everything so well that even I managed to get around ;) Many thanks to Sissel for the good communication and organization and to Emma and Mariell for their very friendly, attentive nature and patience with us.

5.00Our previous experience with skiing was non-existent and after these first notions it was all wonderful. Very pleasant experience and especially very fun. We will have to rent equipment to tour the whole island.
