  We had a lovely day, didn’t see any wildlife, but scenery was fab. Our guide Abdi was so helpful and took lots of photos which were then loaded up and emailed. We stopped for lunch at small huts by a frozen fjord , toilets were simple but clean. Lots of hot drinks 🍷 n offer and we had smoked salmon baguettes and cookies. It was a really nice day out. I would recommend it.

  The pick up was very disorganized and confusing. Despite the name indicating the excursion would be an adventure there was no adventure. Basically, it was a five hour bus ride. The microphone in the bus was not working. Regardless, the driver was impossible to understand. He also was unable to answer basic questions like what kind of fish could be found when ice fishing. At the beginning of the trip, the driver told us that he wouldn't be able to talk much because he would be concentrating on his driving. There was much more, too much to express here. The driver did accommodate us by taking us back to our ship, which was very nice of him. Regardless, we would like a refund or some kind of monetary compensation, okay, next, give you a re

  Excellent tour, Issac was a fantastic guide, very friendly and knowledgable. I weight up a lot options when choosing a Fjord tour and I’m happy to say this felt like the perfect choice. It is not the most expensive, but we spent plenty of time exploring lots of lots of view point and short walks around each area - nothing felt rushed and the lunch was a lot delicious.   Excellent tour, Issac was a fantastic guide, very friendly and knowledgable. I weight up a lot options when choosing a Fjord tour and I’m happy to say this felt like the perfect choice.   We really enjoyed the fjords tour. Our guide, Nikolai, gave a lot of information and was always willing to take a lot of pictures at the unique sceneries we visited. Overall a great way to explore the Norwegian nature.

• The best tour to see natural beauty.

  We did a number of winter excursions in Norway and this one was the best. The guide was knowledgeable and the scenry was beautiful. There was a bathroom break half way through the tour. We took the mini bus rather than the large one. That is the right choice. In the van we were able to stop where the bus was too big to do so. We left the van several times to do short walks. I would encourage you to wear boots and have a walking stick. It can be slippery and I saw those in tennis shoes struggling at times.

• Fjords Tour and Lunch

  We enjoyed the fjords tour! The scenery was beautiful and it was fun to do the hikes that they took us to. Lunch consisted of a deli sandwich and water or hot chocolate. Overall, we had a great time and captured beautiful memories and photos.

• Maybe a different guide would have been ok. But this one was not as advertised.

  I am a fair minded and pragmatic / practical person. I understand that wildlife will not just jump out at us for our viewing pleasure . However, I do expect there to be some mention of the wildlife that might be around us or the area, even if we don’t get the opportunity to see it on the day. Nothing about wildlife whatsoever . Our guide explained about history of the area, the geography and some geology. Not o e mention of wildlife except - I quote “ oh , they look like ducks over there - yes, they are ducks” He is a genuinely nice guy and enthusiastic. We did see a distant seal.; although the guide didn’t mention it . I politely asked the guide if he was going to talk about the wildlife, to which he replied that he didn’t know anything about that and perhaps ought to. So no he wasn’t going to . Another in our party, a keen photographer, noted that the guide couldn’t offer advice on photography in this area, and indeed didn’t really know how to use his own camera very proficiently - another disappointment. The local lunch btw was a baguette that was loaded into the bus in tromso, tasted ok, but was hardly a local lunch. the driver . At the start of the tour he let us all know that he was very experienced in driving in the local weather. He was indeed excellent. We had a pretty serious blizzard travelling back through which he was very capable. The last hour or so of the tour was quiet , as the guide was nodding off if not fully asleep for the duration. I did ask for a partial refund , which got refused funnily enough. Apparently all of the above is beyond anyone’s control. Hey ho. We went on a boat tour in the days after and saw eagles .
