This is a handcrafted, small-group fjord expedition built for serious Northern Lights chasers. Led by a professional Local Aurora tracker, the route follows live weather and solar forecasts, guiding you through Tromsø’s dramatic fjordlands and beyond if needed. You’ll venture into remote areas like Kaldfjord, Ersfjord, and Balsfjord — far from the crowds — where the Northern Lights reflect off still waters beneath towering Arctic peaks.
With a maximum of 8 guests, the experience is intimate, flexible, and immersive. Thermal suits, campfire breaks, and pro-level Aurora photography all add to the comfort and quality. Multilingual guides ensure smooth communication, whether you speak English, Arabic, or Norwegian.

A great adventure to see aurora

5.00A superb trip. Our guide was the gentlest person and although worked alone was able to kit us out with snow suits and around a fire waiting for the aurora give us hot chocolate and corn on the cob to cook over the fire. It was snowing in Tromso but he managed to find a spot that was totally clear about one hour away. Be aware that many factors leading to viewing the aurora are beyond the gift of guides, but although other groups joined us on the frozen lake, our guide advised us to stay put as clear skies were approaching from the north. He was right. We waited 2 hours around the fire and were treated to a 2-3 hour aurora. A real treat. Many thanks!

Despite tricky weather, he went above and beyond to find clear skies, and we were rewarded with an unforgettable Northern Lights display. The extra help with photos was a lovely bonus too. 5.00Such a fabulous experience! Our guide Jinyar was warm & welcoming. He made sure we got great professional photos. There was not a lot if activity to the naked eye; however, the camera sees things humans cannot. Jinyar was great at getting fun poses and coached us to get the best shots. He was amazing! Seeing the Northern Lights is my bucket list dream and I’m so happy to have had this experience! We had a cozy bonfire to stay warm, roasted corn & hit chocolate. Highly recommend! Great value and very accommodating. Love the door to door service!
