Join Boukersen Heim, a warm and family-run company in Tromsø, for a true Northern Lights experience. With a maximum of 12 guests, we serve reindeer sausages around campfire, homemade vegan chai tea. And with a touch of a passionate guide, this tour focuses on a real arctic experience, personal connection, comfort, and high chances of seeing the Aurora.
Your guide will use weather forecasts, local knowledge, and flexibility to chase the clearest skies. We take you far away from the city lights — sometimes all the way to the Finnish border if needed.
We serve local made reindeer sausages for a lifetime experience, with vegan option, hot drinks, and a cozy atmosphere around the fire. We help guests with photography so you can return home with beautiful memories.
This is not a big-bus tour, but a personal, authentic experience designed to make you feel taken care of from start to finish.

5.00We had a fantastic time on this trip. The guide was friendly and shared lots of interesting information about the northern lights. He also provided snow suits which were much appreciated. When we found a place to watch the lights, the guide made a little campfire, which made the experience even more special. We really enjoyed the smaller group and would highly recommend this tour.
Best northern lights tour regardless of whether there are northern lights or not.

5.00This was the best northern lights tour I've been on. Most northern lights tours tend to all go to the same places and do the same things: stand on the side of the road try to find the northern lights, then move to a parking lot and make a fire and watch the northern lights. On this trip we actually got off the beaten track and had reindeer sausage (most companies won't do this because they don't want to spend that much on the customer) with a choice of hot chocolate or (some very, very good) chai tea. Even if the northern lights aren't out, you'll have a good time on this trip. I don't write many reviews but I feel like should for this one because it went above and beyond the others. Also, there are options for vegetarians/vegans. And the guide will help with your photography if you want it or will just take some pictures for you.

5.00it was amazing, we had the chance to see the Northern Lights from our arrival until our departure. Campfire, Rennes sausages and tea are a real plus in this experience.and the passion of the guide is a pleasure for our ears and mind

5.00Despite rather bad weather conditions, the guide was able to find a gap in the clouds and we saw the nothern lights! The guide Alba was very talented, not only in navigating based on forecasts and weather cameras, but also making the camp and the camp fire where we had sausages and warm drinks. It was a magic night!

5.00The service, the attention and the experience hunting northern lights was amazing. Ascanio Alba was the best during this tour and the girl driver. Obviously, this depends on weather and its sudden change. The attitude of the group was amazing too. We were able to see several Auroras, eat hot dogs under the fire and drink hot chocolate. Best of experience in my life. I appreciate the explanations about my questions too. So, I strongly recommend this tour.

5.00The sky was covered with clouds, and all the forecasts for the day proved wrong. He kept chasing it, changing locations for the Aurora, and the universe listened! The miracle happened after a long wait. Thanks to Alba for all the efforts. He is a super supportive and knowledgeable person.

5.00What an amazing trip. With nature outside of our control it wasn’t looking too promising at first that we would see the Northern Lights due to the clouds, however, persistence paid off and we were treated to a spectacular show. Highly recommend. Thank you for such a memorable trip!

5.00Boukersen Heim is a lovely cozy budget place to stay in Tromso. They also provide tours such as Aurora chasing, Fjords sightseeing etc. and we had a wonderful experience with them. The hosts Martin and Thia are very kind and helpful. Our tour guide Alba is an amazing human being and went out of the way in providing us with a lovely Aurora sightseeing experience. Highly recommend touring with them if you ever visit Tromso!!!
