Are you ready to join our Northern Lights Tour? To live a lifetime experience in the middle of the Arctic night? Picture yourself sitting around a cozy campfire on a beach or in a forest, surrounded by snow, while seeing (or waiting for) the Green Lady, with a hot drink and grilling our local sausages and listening to the amazing stories and legends about Lady Aurora. Our guides are locals and passionate about their job. This passion is the key for success. They are also experienced photographers. To enhance your adventure, you’ll receive 24-48 hours later your favorite photos. It's possible to order professional editing of the photo with your guide with an extra fee directly with him/her. We provide thermal suits to keep you warm in the cold Arctic night. While the tour is listed as lasting up to 7 hours, please note that this is only an indication of the maximum duration. It can vary depending on weather conditions and the visibility of the Northern Lights.

5.00First off, the two guys that go along with us for the tour are awesome. I feel bad for blanking on the names but both the guide and the driver were clearly very knowledgeable and passionate about the northern lights, and Norway as a whole. The reason why I titled this patience is a virtue is because we didn’t see anything at the beginning of the night. It was very windy and cold. After eating some reindeer sausages, we moved to a clearer and less windy area. We saw the lights but they were very dim. The stars were amazing though. And on our way back to Tromsø, there was an explosion of light in the sky. We pulled over and got out and the lights felt like there were on the ground in front of you. So bright and vibrant and dancing around the sky. I totally reccomend this experience. Seeing the lights isn’t guaranteed but with a positive attitude, good weather conditions, and a little bit of luck, you will see amazing things

5.00Amazing experience with a very professional guide who carefully selects the most suitable place to see the Northern Lights based on the conditions. That evening, we were very lucky because the aurora were very intense and we were able to observe a variation of colors. I recommend this activity!

5.00Great experience, The team is very prepared and professional, Every night they decide according to the weather conditions. They took us by bus to a cloud-free place in the middle of nature and we saw an exciting sight. We made a bonfire and roasted reindeer sausages. Recommended!

5.00I just finished the Northern Lights tour with Mr.Martin and Mr. Alba who are not only helpful and knowledgeable but also have such interesting stories of the own and the love for Tromso. Our small group got super lucky and could see the Northern Lights dancing and shining so clearly. I think it’s safe to say that all of us thoroughly enjoyed the night and felt very much taken care of. Throughout my stay in Boukersen Heim I got to know also Ms. Thia, her and the rest of the staffs must be some of the most kind-hearted and high-spirited people I’ve ever known. It’s so amazing to stay and go with people who I can clearly love their job and their city with the most burning passion!

5.00It was a night full of fun!! Our guides Mr. Martin and Mr. Alba were extremely impressive with their knowledge of the Northern Lights. Since it was a small group, it was easier for them to interact with us and take care of each of our needs. They did their best to take us to spots with the highest chances to view the lights, and even though Ms Aurora decided to show up for only a short while (behind clouds :')!!), we still had a good time with the everybody. We were served homemade chai (tea), hot chocolate and coffee, and not to forget the authentic Norwegian Reindeer sausages, as well as a vegan option for the vegetarians! Ms Thia, the co-owner of Boukersen Heim, was always readily available if I had any questions regarding the tour/my stay at the guesthouse. I cannot recommend this tour enough! Thank you so much!!
