Take a walk on the wild side of Tromsø on this small-group outdoor hiking tour and explore the Arctic nature on foot. You'll be taken to the countryside of Tromsø in the middle of beautiful mountains, fjords and valleys, where you and your group will snowshoe up a small mountain or along a valley with a guide. On the tour we will be using snowshoes, which makes it easier and a lot of fun to walk on the snow.

In the autumn months (October and November), you'll get to enjoy the colourful countryside before it is covered with a thick layer of snow. When there is not much snow, the tour is a hiking tour without snowshoes.

Snowshoes (snow rackets) are included, please give us your shoe sizes

The place where you will be staying at (Hotel, Air BnB or other)

Please advise any specific dietary requirements at time of booking as well as medical condition if needed

Operates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately. Make sure you wear warm and water resistant clothes and have an extra layer with you and shoes/boots that are suitable for hiking

It is recommended that you bring a bottle of water with you (0,5 liters shoud be enough)

Please be prepared for limited toilet facilities, there will be a gas station stop during the drive, however the camp itself is in the wild Arctic nature where the only toilet possibilities are in the forest (there are no pre-built facilities)

Minimum numbers apply. There is a possibility of cancellation after confirmation if less than 2 passengers per tours. In the event of this occurring, you will be offered an alternative or full refund

Please arrive 15 minutes early, the guide must depart at 10am.

If there is no snow, or not much snow, we'll hike instead of snowshoe.

Northern Norway has a unique nature, which changes with varying colors and light of the four seasons. This tour takes you right in the middle of these amazing landscapes. The tour starts from Tromso city center, from where you will head to the coast on the west side of Tromso. With a small-group size (maximum eight people), you will have an intimate and cozy experience. You will be driven to the countryside of Tromso. Depending on the snow conditions and weather, the walk will be done either with or without snowshoes. In the autumn months (October and November) you'll get to enjoy the colorful countryside before it is covered with a thick layer of snow. In the winter, the landscape will be white with snow to play in. After the drive stretch your legs on a nice walk up a small mountain. The Arctic nature offers you an unforgettable experience. During the walk you can view wildlife and when you reach the summit you will be provided lunch. Your guide will take photos on the tour and share them with you after the trip, free of charge. Just enjoy the hike.

It was a super nice tour. We had really caught a great weather and the view was incredibly beautiful😊 Our tour guides Max and Gerard were also super funny and cool. Would love to do these two tours again and again🙏🏽 a good mix of professionalism and humor.

Amazing scenery and experience with a beautiful weather. Very nice company and great guide Max. Would totally recommend it to whoever wants to try snowshoeing and doesn't feel confident to do it by themselves.

Great day out. Our guide Anete was great. Unfortunately the weather was bad so we didn't get to do the valley/fjord view hike and went to a forest I stead which was a shame.
Scenic paradise - wonderful experience snowshoeing surrounded by snow and mountains.

Such a wonderful experience snowshoeing with the back drop of the Lyngen mountains and snow. We were very lucky with the weather and were treated to dramatic pink skies en route and as we arrived. The scenery was stunning. Max was a fantastic guide, sharing insightful information about the area, wildlife and nature. He created a great atmosphere with our group. Loved every second it. Would highly recommend.

Had a fantastic time. Our tour guide Agnetha was super. She was fun to chat and a great photographer too. I would have liked to go a little higher up the mountains, but couple of others in our group were not up for it, so she found a middle ground 😊 Overall, good experience.
Conversations, stories, and hike. Timeless.

Gosh, what can I say? Both Isaac and Akmeni showed us a great time up in the fjords and mountains of Tromso. The hike was approximately 5km and combined with the conversations we had with everyone in the group and the tour guides was just wholesome. Really enjoyed my time and the $$$ well spent. Also, a lot of insight from the both the tour guides. They know the history and the stories told during the hike made the experience even better. Thank you again.

A great chance to see some of the wilder areas around Tromsø. The trip was really well organised, our guide kept a pace that worked for everyone and took photos during the tour. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to experience the nature up here!
