Hear stories about passionate cinnamon buns, award-winning chocolate and confectioner’s cakes that are talked about far beyond Tromsø’s borders - including the world’s first Northern Lights cake?
We visit hand-picked places with local enthusiasts and naturally there will be opportunities for a taste test or two.
We find our way to the city’s largest selection of handcrafted cakes and enjoy each other’s company around a delicious piece of cake and warming cup of tea or coffee.

You local host and guide will show you some of Tromsø's sweet attractions as well as point out other sights of interest during our tour. There are a couple of shorter stops for sweet samples and one longer stop (about 30-45 minutes) for cake and a hot drink.

5.00Gavin, our tour guide, was outstanding! The couple hours of the tour just absolutely flew by because Gavin was so knowledgeable and entertaining. The various sweets and conceptions were delicious! I fancy myself a Baker, and had one of the most delicious cakes I’ve ever had!

5.00Wonderful tour, highly recommend when visiting Tromsø! Gavin was very knowledgeable and shared lots of interesting stories about culture, people and history of Tromsø. Tasted many treats during the tour including cinnamon bun, macarons, chocolate and the famous northern lights cake. Communication with Oda before the tour was very smooth. Gavin also gave recommendations for restaurants and shops, as well as answered any questions I had about Tromsø. Thank you Gavin and Oda for the fantastic experience, hope to visit again on one of your other tours!

5.00A two and a half hour tour through Tromsö provided us with a good overview of the cities temptations and points of interest. We entered locations we never would have found, got informations about local women and men from the past and present who are not as famous as Roald Amundsen. Stepping in small Cafés and bakeries for some sweet tastes of Tromsö. Additionally, we got plenty information personalized to our interests. In total a sweet, interesting and informative highly recommended tour. Thanks a lot for your time and all the information, Oda. BR Ferdinand

5.00We had a great afternoon with this small group tour. Gavin was very informative with lots of interesting Tromso stories and photo stops. To top it all the coffee and cake in our last cafe stop was delicious.

5.00Highly recommend this tour. Gavin was fantastic. Very knowledgeable about Tromso and gave lots of interesting facts. The cafes and cakes were incredible, in particular the final cafe which is tucked away in a location you would completely miss without the tour. Gavin also took some nice photos of me and my wife.

5.00This tour was amazing! I learned cool facts about Tromsø and got to taste lots of delicious sweets. The cake stop was my favorite - without Oda, I would’ve never found that hidden gem. The cake was incredible! Thanks so much for the sweet adventure!

5.00Very informative, interesting tour of Tromso - history, culture, recommendations for local businesses - coffee shops, etc. Oda is obviously passionate about her home town. Her approach was friendly, flexible, happy to answer questions. Coffee stops - local businesses run by local families. Well worth going.
