You’ll be driven into the Troodos mountains through carefully selected villages to visit 4-5 traditional product workshops and taste a variety of Cypriot delicacies. One of these stops will be a boutique winery plus a visit to the scenic Chrysorrogiatissa Monastery. You'll experience foods* such as halloumi, village bread, wine, olive oil, honey & traditional sweets. Along the way we’ll stop at a village tavern to enjoy an authentic meze lunch.

Amazing small group experience

What an amazing day out this was. I was picked up on time from my hotel by Paul and was delighted to see that it really was a small group tour and not a huge coach trip. The tour is a full day so clean comfortable transport is a must! Paul was an excellent guide and his passion for the island shines through. The trip itself was broken up by interesting stops on the way to and from the mountains. This meant we avoided the boring highway roads that many take. We visited a sweetshop on the site of the original factory from 1895. The Turkish Delight is amazing. We dropped by local producers of halloumi, a couple of vineyards for wine tasting and fabulous views, a monestary and even found time for a quick stop at a shipwreck. Lunch was included and there was also free time to look around and pick up one or two purchases. Paul kept us engaged throughout the trip and, the time passed quickly without feeling rushed. I have already squeezed in another booking before I leave as it feels almost like a private tour without the hefty price tag.

Really nice experience our tour guide Christina was amazing there was a lot of driving but worth it for the views ref the wine a mixed bag some amazing and some not so good felt the winery’s we visited were all providing good wine would have liked to experience the best but great day met lovely people

We had the food venture tour with the guide Vasilis. It was very informative and even with bad weather absolutely worth it. Easy recommendation. We only had 5 + driver people in the car, so it was very comfortable. The food spots were very nice and everything was high quality.

We really enjoyed our day, our guide Vasili was great company. Lots to see and experience. Many tastes to enjoy. This is a relaxed trip which gives one a true taste of small food and drink enterprises in the area.

Our guide Georgina was very informative about the area, even explaining the forest fire that swept through Troodos Mountains in 2025. Local producers of carob, halloumi, wine and chocolate were very good, and Georgina added to their presentations on occasion. The tour of Omodhos village was very good, and the lunch at Ambelothea Taverna there after the tour was outstanding. A great day with good guide and companions. and sunny weather (but a bit cool at higher elevations!).

We had a great full day out visiting a vineyard, olive farm, and local village. They were incredible accommodating particularly because we were are larger group and need alternative transport providing, which they happily arranged door-to-door. Georgina was our tour guide for the day and was lovely. She spoke to the whole group, ensuring everyone had a good time. Georgina was very knowledgeable and happy to answer all our questions. We went for food at a local place called Maria’s, it was delicious and a buffet style to share between our table. They were very generous portion sizes and it was great trying more tradition cuisine.

Excellent tour! Loved the drive and the information that our guide provided while we drove up into the mountains. Enjoyed all 0f the stops along the way and the village walk was beautiful and lunch was amazing! So nice to try so many of the local foods. The winery was small and personal and the owner delightful!

Our group of 8 was accommodated last minute on our week long trip and I couldn’t recommend the experience more. Georgina was an incredible tour guide, very knowledgeable and engaging. She made sure we were all happy every step of the way. The tour is excellent value for money and an great way to see an authentic side of Cyprus and learn more about the country whilst enjoying local food and drink.

What an amazing day out this was. I was picked up on time from my hotel by Paul and was delighted to see that it really was a small group tour and not a huge coach trip. The tour is a full day so clean comfortable transport is a must! Paul was an excellent guide and his passion for the island shines through. The trip itself was broken up by interesting stops on the way to and from the mountains. This meant we avoided the boring highway roads that many take. We visited a sweetshop on the site of the original factory from 1895. The Turkish Delight is amazing. We dropped by local producers of halloumi, a couple of vineyards for wine tasting and fabulous views, a monestary and even found time for a quick stop at a shipwreck. Lunch was included and there was also free time to look around and pick up one or two purchases. Paul kept us engaged throughout the trip and, the time passed quickly without feeling rushed. I have already squeezed in another booking before I leave as it feels almost like a private tour without the hefty price tag.

Georgina was our tour guide for the day and was lovely. She spoke to the whole group, ensuring everyone had a good time. Georgina was very knowledgeable and happy to answer all our questions.
