5.00My husband and I traveled to Roatan via a Royal Caribbean cruise last week. Through doing my own research I found where other passengers had previously booked this Spa privately outside of what Royal Caribbean offered. At first, it may seem like well, it’s a different country, it’s not guaranteed through the cruise line. Is it safe? Well, I’m here to tell you if you DON’T book Spa Baan Suerte, you’re absolutely crazy!!!! Our only complaint was against Royal Caribbean in that we didn't spend enough time at Port to enjoy more of this beautiful oasis! We chose the High Seas Harmony Couple’s Package. It not only included private transportation, but a full body scrub, 90 minute massage of your choice & a full facial. And we paid way less than what the cruise spa would’ve charged us! When we pulled up, it truly felt like this magical place! Mariela was so welcoming!!!! And, so easy to work with via email. When we finally got to meet face to face, I felt like I was meeting a friend! The ladies who gave us our treatments were awesome! So awesome in fact, I forgot to get their names! I really just can’t say enough good things about this place. You MUST experience this!! Especially if you’re on a cruise ship…you have the right to book things privately! Also, Oscar David provided our transportation. He’s with Roatan Shoreline Adventures & he was awesome! Not only did he get us to and from the port safely, he also was like a mini tour guide. Thank you, Mariela & all the staff at Spa Baan Suerte!! We will never forget you & hope to see you again soon!

3.00Dropped around $600 for my wife and I. Pros: The massages were well done with a good variety. The people were friendly. Cons: Place is kind of run down. They need to put some $$ back into the actual spa area. It takes between 30-40 minutes to drive from the cruise terminal to the spa. They only had premixed mimosas, no wine as promised on the site. Overall, a good experience, but probably need to lower the price or improve the quality.
