We just got back from Costa Rica, and honestly, booking with Heiner (Goose) at After Dark Rainforest Experiences was the best decision we made. From the moment we landed in Liberia, it was obvious that Goose and his team had every detail dialed in. Goose didn't just guide us. He curated the entire trip. He managed to create the perfect mix of adventure and relaxation that worked for every age and fitness level in our group. The itinerary was spectacular. The waterfalls were incredible, and the UTV routes and ziplining were exciting without feeling unsafe. We also loved the fabulous day at sea on the catamaran and the 'highly caffeinated' coffee plantation tour, which was a total hit. Beyond the activities, the service was what really stood out. It felt like visiting friends who know all the secret spots rather than being on a standard tour. A massive highlight was the private chef Goose arranged for us. The meals were authentic, healthy, and absolutely delicious. We definitely ate too much! If you want a trip that feels personal, stress-free, and exclusive, go with Goose. This is a family business that truly delivers.

Heiner, AKA “Goose,” was nothing short of amazing throughout our entire experience with him. Not only did he help during the planning of our trip, but as soon as we set foot in Costa Rica, he was our guy. From picking us up at the airport and taking us to our Airbnb, to arranging an incredible golf cart rental, giving great restaurant recommendations, and planning the perfect experience for my wife in her quest to see a sloth and a toucan — Goose delivered. We cannot recommend him and his team enough. Thanks again!

Our tour guide Goose did an amazing job of planning a very personalized experience for our first time in Costa Rica! He made the experience so memorable in many ways as you could tell how much he loves his country and was extremely knowledgeable as he described the animals, wildlife and culture of Costa Rica. The views were beautiful!! He stopped along our route for picturesque places to eat, and it was truly one of the most memorable trips we have taken!

Goose was the best guide he made the day exciting fun entertaining and taught us so many things about animals and plants. We saw frogs, sloths, monkeys, crocodiles, snakes, and so much beauty. He went above and beyond to ensure that we enjoyed ourselves and got to see everything we wanted to see. Would tour with him again in a minute!

My family and I highly recommend this tour! And the company that provides it!! We rafted down the river seeing crocodiles of various sizes sunning themselves on the riverbanks. We also saw bats and birds and could hear the howler monkeys. We also had a National Geographic moment when we saw our daughter’s favorite animal - a sloth! And we didn’t just see any sloth but we were just a few feet away from the cutest baby sloth!!! Our daughter’s dream came true. The tour coordinator Tere responded quickly to inquires and provided us with wonderful additional recommendations. Our tour guide for the day, Heiner (aka Goose) became part of our family as we enjoyed each experience. He was so nice and we learned so much from him. He also made us a video of highlights from the day, which was above and beyond. Next time we’re in Costa Rica we will be reaching out to After Dark Rainforest Experiences because we know we will be taken care of and will have an amazing experience!

Goose was an amazing guide. His passion and knowledge for the areas toured was great! Our families enjoyed our time learning and laughing and created wonderful memories thanks to Goose!
