This is primarily a walking tour. If you prefer to use public transportation during the tour, the cost of tickets for both you and the guide will be at your expense.

5.00My friend booked us a private tour today and Yasushi was incredible. He is so kind and knowledgeable and we learned a ton while also having a great time. He said he used to be a teacher and honestly it shows, he's a great teacher! This was a fantastic way to experience and learn about Kanazawa. We got to go through the fish market, Kanazawa castle, and one of the Chaya districts and he also gave us some recommendations for other things to check out. Would definitely recommend this experience. Thank you so much Yasushi!!

5.00Our private tour with Keita in Kanazawa was great ! He took us to the castle, Kenrokuen and the Higashi Chaya district and gave us good explanations. Plus, he showed us things appart the tourist circuit and gave us his best recommandations for food! We spent a nice afternoon in Kanazawa!

5.00Yasushi was a great tour guide. We did the kenrouken garden, samurai district, and geisha district. The flexibility of private tour was great and yasushi took us to places we were specifically interested in. He gave a great history of Japan and I would highly recommend asking for him as a tour guide!

5.00Our wonderful tour guide was Aiko, who was also our guide in the morning on the Shirakawa-go tour. We couldn’t help but be with her again for a private tour through Kanazawa! Aiko was flexible with how we did our tour, either walking or using taxis, we chose walking because we had so much Japan energy (as she calls it). We went through Kanazawa castle, Kenrokuen gardens, and the Geisha district. There was so many cool details about all these locations that we wouldn’t have known without Aiko. She is so knowledgeable about Kanazawa’s history and culture and spoke with great English. Combined with her cheery personality, I can say without a doubt that she is the great tour guide in Kanazawa! We would love to meet with her again one day!
