Sevan
Mariam, the daughter of King Ashot I, promised to build 30 churches in honour of her late husband. She kept her promise throughout her life. One of them, Sevanavank, was built in 874. Founded in the 4th century, Sevanavank experienced its development in the 9th century. Apart from the two standing churches, the unique khachkar of the 17th century, with its many biblical scenes, deserves special attention. The name of the capital, Yerevan, was recorded for the first time on the dome of Sevanavank.

5.00We really enjoyed our tour to Tsaghkadzor and Lake Sevan. The scenery was stunning and the trip was very relaxing. Our guide - Hasmik was kind, informative, and made the whole experience fun and comfortable. Definitely recommended.

4.00Absolutely fantastic tour! I highly recommend it, especially if you're visiting during the winter and want to experience some snow. The tour began at Lake Sevan and included a stop at a monastery (I can’t remember the name) where you’ll need to climb 200 stairs, so be sure to wear comfortable shoes. If you prefer to spend more time in Tsaghkadzor, I’d suggest booking a private tour instead. With this group tour, you’ll only have about an hour and a half to explore the winter wonderland.

5.00I had an amazing time on the tour. Our guide, Hasmik, was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. She provided excellent explanations of the attractions and made the experience even better. Norik, our driver, was great as well, always punctual and made sure we felt safe throughout the trip. The bus was spacious, comfortably fitting 10-12 passengers. The attractions they selected were top-notch, and I’d highly recommend this tour to everyone.

5.00It was a very nice and enjoyable tour. I admire the enthusiasm of Ani, out tour guide and she has a very good singing voice. Our driver is also very nice, both of them are accommodating and whatever questions you ask they will answer gladly. I recommend this to everyone if you need or want any tour/s in Armenia, go for One Way Tour 🙂
