Your guide will meet you inside The Mercado, next to La Estrella. A modern adaption of old world architecture within an expanding downtown, you can find everything from clothes to tacos.
Situated within Viente de Agosto Park sits a statue of a beloved and controversial General Villa. You will learn why this particular piece was gifted by the Mexican government and what role Pancho played in Tucsons rich history.

5.00I had an amazing time with Steve as my tour guide. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. We got to eat a wide range of foods that are local to the Tucson area. In addition to the food, we walked around downtown where we got to learn more about the city’s history and historical landmarks. The other folks in my group were all friendly, and I had a great time.

5.00Carolyn provided a great and informative tour. She was very personable and quite comfortable to talk with. The food at all the stops were excellent especially the Sonoran hot dog, the Elote Pizza (fantastic), the molasses cookies and at the end our secret dish the ice cream. We had a lay afternoon tour and it was well enough for us satisfying our dinner for the night! Thanks again Carolyn on a wonderful tour!

5.00It was a great experience touring with 6 tastings of Southwestern flavors. Our guide Steve is very knowledgeable and patiently explained the cultures behind each dish. The food choices are palatable and very impressive. Overall, this food tour with Steve was rated five-star.

5.00John was our tour guide and he was awesome. He was very informative, funny and kept things moving. The food was great. We tried food I personally would never try on my own so it was great to try things out if my comfort zone.

5.00We’ve been to Tucson several times and loved this tour. Carolyn was very knowledgeable, is a retired James Beard awarded chef, and had great historical tidbits about the city. The food was amazing - bring your appetite. And I loved that Carolyn pointed out stores that sold local art! We’ve done several secret food tours in other cities and this was our favorite! A must do!
