The Tuk Tuk Safari we start from Bandarawela Railway Station at 9.AM and the tour last about 6 Hours, going in a tuk tuk to a most beautiful tea plantation in sri lanka and be in the real tea plantation and learn about the tea is the tour
we can also pick you up from your hotel in Ella - Haputale - bandarawela, visiting a tea factory and the view point named after the owner of the tea plantation as Lipton's Seat is also a highlight of the tour also a picnic lunch in the tea plantation over looking a panoramic view join the ladies to pick some tea you drink all your life

5.00We booked a Tuk Tuk tea plantation safari and really enjoyed it. The guides were really nice and you can feel that they really like their job, they have a lot of enthusiasm. We liked a lot being just the 3 of us and we loved the whole scenery, landscape, tea plantations and walking by the tea pickers. We expected it more touristic, it felt more off the beaten track. Actually the Sri Lanka Trekking Club is famous for its guided hiking trips. We would love to come back to Sri Lanka and participate in one of the 4-5 days hiking tours like the quite new pekoe trail.

5.00This was a very interesting and informative activity - it provided a real understanding of the tea industry and life for the people. The guide was informative and helpful, we chugged around the hills and plantations for about five hours finishing with a tour of the oldest tea factory. Well worth it.

5.00A wonderful and interesting excursion with tuktuk. A mile wide view of large tea farms where we got to see how the tea farms were managed, even a visit to a tea factory.
