In this experience, the emergence of glass and its development up to modern times are introduced, along with the history of the Turkish mosaic lamp and its place in Turkish cultural heritage. The lamp-making process is then demonstrated step by step in its simplest form by a master guide, both theoretically and practically. Participants begin by selecting motifs and colors, creating their own designs, applying the design onto the glass, and completing the lamp through the grouting process. In the final stage, the design and the lamp are checked by the master guide; the bulb and stand are installed and the lamp is lit. After the drying process, the lamp is securely packaged for safe transport.

Fantastic experience. We build our own mosaic lamps, we had lots of fun. Ahmet is super professional, he was attentive, friendly and explained everything clearly. Even when we doubted our own motifs he gave us suggestions and showed us ideas to be inspired by. He also gave us tea, and different flavours with some lokum. thank you Ahmet! We learned a lot and loved our final results. Ps: he also wraps your lamps up so they can travel safe back home with you😁

A fun experience creating your own mosaic lamp, accompanied by tasty tea and Turkish delight! The location is central and pleasant, and the instructor gave us a brief introduction to the history of mosaic lamps. The steps were explained clearly, and we were able to take our time to finish our designs. There was a good selection of glass in different colours, though it would be nice to have more variety in shapes. I would recommend not doing this at the end of your stay in Göreme, as it takes some time for the glass to dry.

Must do while at Cappadocia! We made lamp design and it was so much fun! Its full creative mode and the end product was so cool and aesthetic! Depending on the colour of glass you pick, the end results is different! Mine turned into a warm vibe lamp while my wife had more bright calm touch to it!
