This is a private tour, reserved exclusively for you or your group. Takeaway from the 25 Fountains and Risco Waterfall. Walking is Guide of by me, I am Certified Mountain Guide since 2018. Includes tourist license from Portugal, insurance and transport pick-up and drop-off at your hotel and entrance fee on the route. The Twenty Five Fountains Walk and Risco Waterfall is done in a private group of 1 to 4 people, the goal is to make the walk always avoiding the crowd, so during the week the route is held after lunch and at the weekend there is the option to start before the large groups. We will walk inside the Laurissilva Forest, fauna and flora, endemic plants, history, origin and importance of the Levadas and much more. Distance 12 km, if you have shoes waterproof will be useful because we will cross a tunnel and sometimes have a little water in winter, distance of 12 km.

5.00I would HIGHLY recommend booking this hike with Paulo. He is a fantastic guide and takes you on secret trails away from any crowds. On this hike you will come across so many stunning waterfalls and lagoons, and each one is more breath taking than the last. Paulo is knowledgeable on the history of the island as well as the flora and fauna you will come across and hiking with him is a lot of fun!
Hire Paulo and avoid a horrible time in mass crowds!

5.00Amazing Experience with Paulo. If you plan to hike in Madiera, you should do more than one day with Paulo. He will take you to the best areas with the least crowds. He is a native with a treasure trove of knowledge. Do you want to be with 100s if not 1000s of hikers??? Hire Paulo and avoid that and have an incredible experience.

5.00The most unforgettable day of our trip to Madeira! We spent a full-day guided by Paulo, and it turned out to be the highlight of our entire stay on the island. Paulo led us through breathtaking trails, hidden waterfalls, and secret lagoons where no tourists go. We explored several levadas, climbed up and down mountains, even descended on ropes with Paulo ensuring our safety. His deep knowledge of Madeira’s flora, fauna, birds, and hidden natural wonders was beyond impressive. Listening to him speak about the island’s plants and wildlife felt like a masterclass in nature. He truly knows Madeira like the back of his hand. We hiked 17 kilometers that day, and every step was filled with awe, joy, and connection to nature. 5.00What can I say about Paulo.... I found his tours on my first trip this year, I had such a great time I booked again for my second trip ! Paulo is a great tour guide, he has fantastic knowledge and so much passion. You learn a lot and it's a great experience. You are given the time you need to really make the most of your tour and will never feel rushed. Paulo takes great care of his guests ! I booked two tours with him this week. I can assure you all that you won't just want to book 1 tour with him but more ! As a solo female traveller, I feel safe with a local guide such as Paulo I can trust. My arthritis played up the first time I came and he tailored my tour to accommodate my health and we went at my pace. He is very thoughtful and will make sure your tour is all you dreamed of. I plan to come a third time to Madeira and will book with him again. Your trip to the island would not be complete without booking with Paulo ! Would 100% recommend. 5.00Paulo was amazing guide. We had two full days in Madeira and decided to spent them with him. We saw so much of the island in just two days. On the first day we did the waterfall walk in the morning and in the afternoon went to the west coast of the island with the car and stopped at very beautiful spots. The next day we woke up for the sunrise and did a little bit of the hike because it was partly closed and the afternoon went to the north coastline and ended in Fanal. He told us a lot of interesting facts, was very friendly and easy to talk to, made us feel safe. He really did give more from himself than needed but thats when you love what you are doing. Don’t hesitate and book him for your trip. You won’t regret it I promise you!!! Without him you won’t be able to see that much on your own.
