This 2-hour journey will lead you on top of both Reykjavik Peak and Lava Fields Mountain.
You will begin your day by being picked up by the ATV Operator team and taken to their newly made headquarters, with well-equipped bathrooms and free coffee available.
After the briefing, you will start your ATV journey across Hafravatn Lake and the Icelandic wilderness. Ascend Reykjavik Peak to enjoy the view, then tackle the steeper Lava Fields Mountain. These peaks offer fantastic views over Faxafloi bay, Esja mountain, Reykjavik, and the Blue Mountains. You can also see the steam from the Hellisheidi Geothermal power plant.
No alcohol or drug tolerance is allowed on our tours. Participants showing up under the influence are not entitled to a refund.

5.00Highlight of my trip easily and we did basically everything you could do in Iceland. Good duration on the ATV, didn’t feel like we got bumped. Actually fun and testing even rather than going on a boring straight road. Not that many people. Instructor had a perfect balance of strict for safety but fun in terms of letting us ride. Really 100000% recommend adding this. The team here were all friendly as well. Worth the money, book it trust me.

5.00Daria, Mario & Gonzalo made our day! We started in a group tour but after I had a sudden panic attack and my friend had to take over Gonzalo radioed in and got us our own private guide Daria so that we could take it at our own pace. She was amazing! One of the best things I've done in my life!!!! True off roading so not for the faint hearted but the guides make the day truly fabulous!
For experienced rider, NOT for passengers.

1.00This is definitely for experienced motor bike riders, as is my husband, who got into it pretty quickly. However, as the passenger this was the most unpleasant experience I've had in years. I spent the entire 2 hours being bounced around as we drove over extremely rough terraine, with me using all my strength not to damage my back or neck while holding on, as i could not stand up to absorb the many shocks. The absence of snow may have exacerbated just how rough the terrain was. However, snow or no snow, apart from stopping to look down over the lake, and then the lake stop itself, the trail was anything but scenic, just miles and miles of barren landscape. Our guide, however, was very pleasant.
Amazing experience would go again.

5.00We had our tour with Daria and it was amazing! We drove up through all the mountains and booked it in perfect time to watch a beautiful sunrise from the peak of the mountain. Daria was super cheerful and very attentive throughout always checking everyone was happy and comfortable throughout, we also rode past a frozen over lake and stopped to go and slide around and have fun there. A last minute booking and so glad we did it one of the highlights of a beautiful trip!
