This 2-hour journey will lead you on top of both Reykjavik Peak and Lava Fields Mountain.
You will begin your day by being picked up by the ATV Operator team and taken to their newly made headquarters, with well-equipped bathrooms and free coffee available.
After the briefing, you will start your ATV journey across Hafravatn Lake and the Icelandic wilderness. Ascend Reykjavik Peak to enjoy the view, then tackle the steeper Lava Fields Mountain. These peaks offer fantastic views over Faxafloi bay, Esja mountain, Reykjavik, and the Blue Mountains. You can also see the steam from the Hellisheidi Geothermal power plant.
No alcohol or drug tolerance is allowed on our tours. Participants showing up under the influence are not entitled to a refund.

5.00The guide was very understanding, considering we had an accident with snowmobile a few days ago and we're scared. He took us on paths that were comfortable for us. But he took my son on a thrill ride as well. So everyone was happy.

5.00This was the BEST tour ever. Our guide was so sweet. I was very hesitant as this was my first time driving an ATV. The guide talked me through it and I was able to feel confident enough for the whole ride. The views were stunning and our guide gave us a lot of information about the area. Our guide even stopped for us to pet the horses. I couldn’t recommend this tour enough, my favorite activity on my trip.

5.00Fabulous adventure. It was my first time on a quad, but my partner is very experienced. We both had a blast! The guide. Veronica, was very professional and took us on a 2 hour excursion that included some world-class scenery, as well as fun! It was well worth the cost.

5.00I’ve done other ones that end up being over 10 hours with bus ride, etc. This one was great as it’s close to Reykjavík. . Very cool tour some driving on roads but mainly trails had a couple different stops and drove through water. Overlook of Reykjavík was awesome guide/driver.Gonzalo, was very nice and helpful
The views alone are worth it!

5.00This was the best tour of our entire Iceland trip, riding up into the highlands on an ATV, with the wind, the air, and those views — there are no words. We genuinely wanted to pause and stay in those moments. But Weronika, our tour guide, was the icing on the cake. She was a ball of positive energy from start to finish — warm, happy, and genuinely delightful to be around. She kept everyone safe, explained everything clearly, checked in on the whole group throughout the ride, and was always happy to take our photos and answer any questions. She made an already incredible experience even better. Do not skip this one.

5.00As for the last day of our trip, we booked the 2 hours ATV tour offered by Safari Quads! Such a great way to finish our adventure in Iceland! We wanna thank our tour guides Pedro and Veronika for making sure that the tour goes smoothly and the group feels safe and comfortable! 5.00As the site suggests, wear warm clothes and be certain to take and put on right away the balaclava provided . This is not an activity for anyone who has back issues, arthritic hands. Not surprisingly, part of the experience is over rugged terrain I am 70 and had no problem with an excellent guide
