Seven Lakes

Transfer to Marguzor, the famous seven lakes - seven wonderful water mirrors full of mountain riverside drops. Each lake looks different whenever the sun changes its position. Colors may vary from deep blue to indie color ripple. Seven Lakes in the Fann Mountains are more than a pleasant mountain destination – they’re some of the most exquisite lakes of Tajikistan, steeped in history and legend that provide poignant insights into local culture. Iskanderkul Lake

Our trip today is to high Mountain lake – Iskanderkul (200 m). It is situated in the famous Fann Mountains. This fabulous area is one of the best places in Central Asia. After arrival at the lake, you will go for a walk along its beaches. Also you can hike 40 minutes to see an amazing and hugest waterfall in Tajikistan known as Niagara of Fann Mountains. after lunch we driving the same way back to Panjakent

Ancient Town of Panjakent

Visiting the Ruins of ancient town Panjakent. Ancient Penjikent - the ruins of the old Sogdian town founded in the 5th century and abandoned in the 8th century by Arabs. Foundations of houses, a citadel with a couple of Zoroastrian fire temples and city bazaar are visible in the excavated ruins

Proto-urban site of Sarazm

Sarazm, which means “where the land begins”, is an archaeological site bearing testimony to the development of human settlements in Central Asia, from the 4th millennium BCE to the end of the 3rd millennium BCE. The ruins demonstrate the early development of proto-urbanization in this region. This centre of settlement, one of the oldest in Central Asia, is situated between a mountainous region suitable for cattle rearing by nomadic pastoralists, and a large valley conducive to the development of agriculture and irrigation by the first settled populations in the region. Sarazm also demonstrates the existence of commercial and cultural exchanges and trade relations with peoples over an extensive geographical area, extending from the steppes of Central Asia and Turkmenistan, to the Iranian plateau, the Indus valley and as far as the Indian Ocean.. In 2010 Sarazm was added to the list of Human heritage by UNESCO.
