  Really insightful and highly recommended. You visit absolutely all the important places. Many occasions for "National Geographic photos". Especially first day is amazing, second is still nice, but not as strong as the first one. Sunrise is a nice addition, but depends on the weather conditions. Nero was a really great guide - because of his family background and his deep interest in Rapa Nui culture, he was able to provide us with insights that you can't learn anywhere else. It's clear he is really passionate about showing the island to people and that make the tour so great.

  If you want to be able to walk up close to the Moai then you have to go with a guide. A few of the places you can go without one, but for the majority of them, you need an official tour guide. This tour covers all the sites. Our guide was Andre. While knowledgeable, there were 15 people on this tour so I feel like a lot of what he said got lost. While, he would make an effort to talk to everyone however, at times, he would be telling some people parts of history and not others and I feel like we missed out on a lot of the history. He would also pick inopportune times to stop the group to talk about his own personal research. While I enjoyed hearing about it, as an example, we went to the quarry- one of the main highlights of the tour and it was about to rain. Rather than let us get to enjoy the major tourist sites that everyone has flown thousands of miles to see and then talk about his research in the van, he stopped in an odd spot with no monuments while he wasted some of the only time it wasn’t pouring down rain to talk about his own research. This time could’ve been used to have taken photos or seen other monuments, but by the time he stopped talking, it was pouring down rain and we had lost our photo opportunity. I was pretty annoyed by that.

  It was amazing! Great experience with Nero and Joaquin! Great guides! They had so much information to provide and where able to explain everything! The pick up and drop off was on time and we covered every place that was in the itinerary. I recommend them!

  I toured the island with the tours of this agency... excellent experience... we met the most iconic places, with the story of our guide Ignacia that was a 7... plus I took diving through them 10/10 and horseback riding (for weather they asked me if I wanted to do the activity since there was not much visibility as I did not want, they returned my money) always responsible and responded late... thanks for everything

  Excellent choice to experience the main attractions in Rapa Nui. This 2.5-days activity fits them all, and it was complimented by a great guide, Esteban who made the experience even more entertaining. Highly recommended !!

  The tour does cover most of the highlights of the island. Guides were professional and pointed out a ton of history. The agency was really great to communicate with. I asked a MILLION questions and I swear I changed my dates 5 times and the agency was polite and friendly throughout all the communications. Seriously I was a tough customer because I was so excited for this trip and wanted to make sure I was picking the best agencies. I am grateful for their patience with me. This tour should be your first stop on the island because it gives you such a great foundation for everything else you will see on the island. The guides are different from day to day. Ata is literally the best tour guide ever in all of the tours I have ever taken around the world so if you get him it is such a special treat. The guide on the sunrise tour knew the best spots to watch sunrise based on the time of the morning and time of the year. The experience added to the magic of the sunrise. Make sure you bring snacks because lunch is not available during the tour though one day a guide took us to literally the best empanada spot on the island (compared to the other 4 places I tried). Make sure you bring plenty of water and layers to put on/off throughout the day. The weather changes quickly so a winter hat and an umbrella can make you very comfortable (sun and rain protection). I kept my bookbag in the van with my extra gear.

  The tour was simply amazing! Very complete, covering all the most important spots on the island with excellent organization. The guides Esteban and Joaquin were outstanding — knowledgeable, friendly, and provided detailed explanations that made the experience even more meaningful. We also had enough time at each stop to truly take in the atmosphere and absorb the energy of each place, without feeling rushed. A well-rounded and enriching experience from start to finish. Highly recommended!

  Esteban was an exceptional guide. Explaining the history of Moai with such clarity and historical context. He speaks with a very lucid neutral accent that is understandable by all.

• The combined 2-day tour + Tongariki sunrise is a great way to see Rapa Nui

  We did the combination Explore, Dream, and Sunrise Tongariki tour. Andrés Pakarati was our driver and tour guide for the first 2 days. He is an island native and well studied in the history and culture of Rapa Nui. We learned a lot from him about each of the historical sites we visited, as well as about the history of the Moais. We had a small group of 8 in total and a comfortable van. Andrés did a very nice job over the two days. On day 3, we had a different assigned driver and larger group for the sunrise tour. We were waiting for 50 minutes past the pick up time that morning. The agency assigned a new driver who, fortunately, got us to the Tongariki site just in time for the cloudy sunrise. We would have appreciated a proactive text that morning to alert us of the delay, rather than us having to reach out to the agency to understand why pickup was running so late, which really matters when timing against a sunrise excursion. But all ended okay and we were able to stay at Tongariki long enough that morning to see the sun crest over the mountains behind Ahu Tongariki— a beautiful sight to behold.
