As the cheeky monkey wake you up in the morning, it’s time to leave for a two day track in the jungle. I’ll pick you up at your homestay and together we enter the beautiful world heritage of Gunung Leuser. Along the way we stop frequently to drink, eat some fruits and observe the beautiful Orangutans from a safe and respectful distance in their natural habitat. I tell you everything you need to know about the fauna and flora. If we are lucky we are able to spot the Thomas leaf monkey, the noisy gibbon, macaques or other beautiful wildlife creatures. In the afternoon I’ll provide you a lunch. You can chose the climbing-the- mountain trail or the easy Trail. Whatever you decide: It will be a once in a lifetime experience. We arrive in the early afternoon at the campsite, where you can dip into the river and refresh yourself after a long day. In the meantime we prepare you a lovely dinner so you can relax and watch the stars next to the campfire. In the morning you will experience all the beauty our jungle has to offer. We serve breakfast and go for a swim at the waterfalls before we tube back to town. If you are not in the mood you can relax at the campsite. Hope to see you soon

5.00Fery is a fun, very caring and enjoyable tour guide. He might seem a bit aloof at times, but he is there when he needs to. Trekking with Fery means laughing a lot, even if you don’t want to!

5.00My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our overnight in the Jungle. Fery was a fantastic guide. He knows the jungle and the animals so well. This was my favorite part our four week trip to Southeast Asia!

5.00I used to live in Medan and would come to Bukit Lawang almost every weekend. I hadn't been back in 10 years and we were on our honeymoon so decided to do a trek again so my husband could see the orangutans. We had an amazing time with Fery and his team. He was friendly and funny and became our friend by the end of it. We saw about 8-9 orangutans in our one night trek, it was magical. The food him and his team provided was delicious and always set up so beautifully. Fery even went out of his way to get us traditional indonesia breakfast (lontong) the day after our trek. A life long memory, that's for sure. 10/10 would recommend!

5.00It was an amazing time in bukit lawang. Most of the time we spent with fery. We stayed overnight in the jungle. We saw a lot of orangutan and other monkeys. I love the time in bukit lawang so much and I really want to came back. Come as a tourist leave as a friend. Thanks for all fery!

5.00We all want that perfect experience, well it’s not just about the animals that you see here that makes it so special, it’s the people that you spend it with and the guide that shows you the way, Fery was always smiling and trying to give you the best trip possible, getting close to the animals but respecting the rules. I do not often do trips with guides because they are often not as great as you hoped, but Fery made this trek a really special one! He looked after my mother incredibly well, a memory we have got forever. Also can speak multiple languages Thanks fery
