Napa Lake Grasslands
You will be picked up by tour guide and driver from Shangri-la Hotel at 9 am. Napahai Lake is the first stop you will visit today. The whole Napahai natural protection area covers an area over 31.25 square meters with an altitude of over 3266 meters. A flock of sheep, yak, meadow and Tibetan village catches your eyes. Napa Lake is a seasonal lake at high altitude and also a swamp meadow, for this reason, it is the winter home for many kinds of migrating birds. You may get chance to view birds hovering on the lake freely. You will have one hour visiting time and then take another one hour to Nixi earthenware village. Nixi earthenware are reputed highly in aesthetes and manufacture. You will have a detailed understanding of the locals on how to make earthenware products. You will spend 40 minutes in Nixi village.
After 1.5 hours drive, you will arrive at Benzilan for lunch. In Tibetan words, Benzilan is the name for “beautiful sandbank”. Above Benzilan, the torrent and billow of the Jinsha River is raging hard, while below Benzilan, the Jinsha River is suddenly open and calm. Enjoy the beautiful Big bend of Jinshajiang passing through the steep valley, a U-shaped bend is formed around the Rizhui peak.
Dongzhulin Temple
After taking 20 minutes of photos of this Jinsha River, you will continue your trip to East Bamboo Forest Temple. East Bamboo Forest Temple was built in Qing dynasty 1667, hear the lamas praying, chanting, gonging. You will see lamas wearing special Buddhist costumes that are extremely beautiful.
Meili Snow Mountain
After half an hour visiting, then take a two-hour drive to the Flying Temple. Flying temple was built in the Ming Dynasty in the year 1614 with a history of over 390 years. Flying Temple is located in the mountain “Zhenyi” which is famous for its firm and towering shape, and majesty figure. The mountain is heavy-populated with various types of trees and purple bamboo. The hanging vines of the ancient tree planted behind Flying Temple are like the jade curtain hanging for enjoying time leisurely. You will enjoy the sundown of the Meili snow mountain from your hotel(reside in Songtsam Meili Hotel).

Take a leisurely time at your hotel, altitude is 3600 meters of Songtsam Meili Hotel. Wake up early watching the sunrise casting on beautiful Meili Snow Mountain while having breakfast at your hotel. Check out from the hotel then return back to Shangri-la. You will have a view on Baima Snow Mountain far apart on the way back.
