5.00I highly recommend Andes Vertical. They were a great asset during the planning phase, always responsive and patient throughout our many questions (Federico was amazing). The hike itself was beautiful and our guide, Augustine, was incredible. We could not have asked for a better company, customer service, guide, and overall experience. Five out five stars.

5.00Pablo is an incredibly intentional guide, he was so much fun to spend 3 days with and an expert thoughtful guide who will help you achieve one of the most beautiful and physically exilerating achievements of your life. I hope to get to hike with him again one day.

5.00If you're looking for an actual adventure- not just a tour of the mountains in an air-conditioned van, this is the trip for you. I was looking to explore the mountains while in Mendoza, but wanted an actual challenge. Most of the other tours basically shuttled you between spots and maybe had a 2 hour hike, but I was looking to be challenged, and I got that and more with Matías. I was picked up from my hotel and had about a 2-hr drive to the refuge (partially why I think a 2-day trek is the right length). You then drop off your things, and head for a shorter 3-5 hour hike to get acclimated to the mountain. Once back at the refuge, Matías made a great pasta dish for dinner, and a solid spread the next morning. We then did a 6-8 hour hike, going through different peaks and some partial rock climbing. I loved that he tailored the hike so that I was challenged, but not absolutely exhausted. We then took the drive back to Mendoza for some much needed R&R. I'll note, though, that the refuge is pretty basic, and shared with other travelers. It's basically bunk-bed style with 6 beds in a room, though it's not like there are nicer options. It's workable, but I would definitely suggest a sleeping bag, ear plugs, face mask, and hand sanitizer.

5.00I did the Cordon Del Plata hike. The communication beforehand was excellent. My guide, Mati, arrived on time and was superb. The walking was great, the altitude was high for someone from the UK but Mati chose a pace and route that were perfect. A really good experience and I would recommend this route, company and Mati.
A great hiking experience, and so much more.

5.00My husband and I had an excellent time hiking for two days in the mountains. We were provided excellent communication, transportation, food, and hiking. Our guide, Pablo, was a fabulous conversationalist, and we learned so much about Argentinian culture and the Andes from him. I highly recommend this company and Pablo as a guide.
