In order to begin this adventure, our tour guide will pick you up from your hotel in Iasi and you will start the journey to Chisinau, the capital city of the Republic of Moldova. On your way to the capital, you will discover the history of Moldova's most beautiful monastery: Capriana Monastery.
Chisinau City Hall
Your next destination is Chisinau, where you will take a city tour and discover it's main attractions. The Triumphal Arch was built in 1841 and many tourists call it the "Holy Gates of Chisinau". You will then take a stroll through the park of the city and you will learn about Stephen the Great, the noble symbol of Moldova's medieval past.
Cricova Winery
Next on the itinerary is the famous Cricova Winery, situated at a depth of 50-80 meters, representing a real underground city. The Moldovan wine cellars where Vladimir Putin keeps his wine are so big that you need to drive through them. Considered to be the pearl of Moldovan winemaking, Cricova is the founder of production of high-quality elite wines. Here you will have the chance to see the underground city, taste the best Moldovan wines and also buy some as a souvenir.

You will start the day with an early drive to the Old Orhei Museum Complex, located in a rocky gorge at a depth of more than 200 meters. It represents one of the most famous areas with vestiges of establishing different civilizations on the perimeter of Moldova. It is one of the two places in the world where the ruins of the city were preserved during the age of the Golden Horde. The stone caverns on the site have witnessed the presence of the first human settlements in the area.
Old Orhei
The highlight of the day is the Palanca Village, a place where ancient traditions have been kept alive for hundreds of years. We will visit the ‘Parents House’, a household from the 1900s where Mrs. Tatiana will delight us with some of the best traditional Moldovan dishes you will ever taste.
Centrul Istoric Iasi
In the evening we will reach Iasi, and your tour will come to an end.

5.00My wife and I enjoyed our tour of Iasi, Bucovina, and the Painted Churches, and our private 2 day tour of Moldova this past September. Our Rolandia contact Adelina was very responsive and helpful in setting up our itinerary based on what we wished to do. Leo was our excellent driver guide who was fun, energetic, and knowledgeable. He was also very flexible and willing to add or subtract from our itinerary based on our wishes. The company helped set up a transfer for us, and when the transfer was unexpectedly no longer needed, they refunded the transfer. Rolandia provided us with a top notch experience at a reasonable price. I highly recommend Rolandia for private travelers wishing to visit Romania and Moldova.

5.00o perfect organization, from pre-trip contact up to the end of the trip o knowledgeable tour guide, great company, speaking near-native English, always willing to make sure we are getting the most out of our trip o well chosen program giving in a span of just 2 days a good cross section of culture and landscapes of an interesting country o Very comfortable car in top technical condition o well chosen and comfortable accommodation in the center of Chisinau o in short: definitely to be recommended
