Get ready for an unforgettable whale watching adventure in Oceanside! Our crew will greet you at the ticket kiosk next to the Lighthouse in Oceanside Harbor and escort you to our 50-ft luxury catamaran—built for smooth cruising and panoramic views. Please arrive at least 45 minutes early (60 on holidays) with your full group. Oceanside Harbor gets busy, especially on weekends, and we can’t wait for late arrivals. No refunds or reschedules are offered if you miss the boat. Led by a certified marine naturalist Captain, your tour includes live narration as we explore the coast. Most trips spot dolphins and sea lions, and whale sightings vary by season, with gray, blue, humpback, and fin whales seen at different times of the year. Enjoy snacks, soft drinks, beer, wine, and cocktails from our cash bar. No outside alcohol or coolers allowed. Dress in layers—it’s cooler on the water. Questions? Give us a call!

5.00This was my third time with this whale watching tour group. Every trip was great. My twelve year old grandson was thrilled by the abundance of dolphins.

3.00No whales sadly , only dolphins. Great guide and crew tho. Clean bathrooms. Title shouldn’t include the word whale if whales aren’t 100% going to be there.

3.00On the day of our tour there unfortunately were no whale sightings. We did manage to see a handful of dolphins however our purpose in the tour was for whale watching.While it was considerate of them to grant everyone a free second excursion since there were no whale sightings, it would have been considerate of them to at least provide a partial refund to those of us who live 1,300+ miles out of state who were leaving the next day and didn’t not have the option to book a second tour. There should always be room for leniency outside of standard policies to accommodate all customers.

5.00Had a wonderful experience on the NALA today. Capt. Chris was amazingly adept at being in the right spot at the right time. We saw many Humpback and Fin Whales. I also think about 3 passengers, in addition to me, may have seen a Minke Whale. Not to mention having a large pod, about 250, dolphins escort us briefly. All around us! On every side of the boat and even under the boat. It was incredible. Deckhands, TCon and Ivy were exceptional and enthusiastic. Can hardly wait to come back. Highly recommend this. We were on one of their older boats about 4 years ago, also a great experience. Did not seen whales but saw about 400 dolphins. Both trips were outstanding!!! Thanks!!!!

3.00Didn’t see a lot of whales or dolphins. They gave us a free voucher to return. Crew was okay. Everyone was nice just not an above and beyond experience.

5.00I went on the 2-hour whale watching adventure with a couple of friends, and we had an amazing experience! The staff was friendly, the boat was comfortable, and we saw a lot of dolphins up close!! Highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting!

4.00Easy booking and boarding process. Beautiful scenery and friendly crew. We saw whales almost right away and it was amazing. I got a little sea sick when we traveled at speed so if I did this again I’d take some meclazine ahead of time!

5.00Our Captain had an eagle eye for spotting whales. Our crew was awesome and very polite! Purchasing online was great. ? Maybe the “checking in place” could ask about where we parked, to avoid this next mistake! We parked in the wrong spot! Hefty fines! Be aware of all signage!
