Enjoy a 2-hour small group surfing session on the Great Ocean Road. Learn to surf with some of the most qualified and experienced surf coaches on the Surf Coast. The session runs for two hours with the ability to search the Great Ocean Road for the best surf location thanks to your operators vast range of beach permits.

Hi all! Well it's going to be a blast, surfing in my back yard,Torquay. We are only a short walk to the beach from our shop in Bell St. We have changing rooms, toilets and hot showers. We will go through the fundamentals on the beach and then hit the surf. The coaching and surfing is around 2 hours so see you soon..................

5.00Had a great time on our Surf lesson with Oscar. Ended up being a private lesson with just my friend and I as it was a 10am session on a public holiday (November 2025.) The 2hrs felt generous as a learner and a positive atmosphere overall. They have hot showers we used afterwards and change rooms/lockers. Would highly recommend!

5.00Our group had an amazing experience at Torquay Surfing Academy. We brought a large group with a variety of physical abilities and from beginning to end we were treated with incredible patience and kindness. I’ve previously used a number of different surf schools for our group and I will never again go anywhere else.

5.00Right from the moment you walk through the door they are so welcoming. They know exactly what they're doing and make it as easy and quick as possible to get down to the beach and enjoy the surfing. We went on a public holiday and the beach was packed but somehow Alessandro managed to keep an eye on us all and give individual tuition once we were in the water. The whole family had a great time as absolute beginners and we would definitely go back to the Surfing Academy next time.

5.00We took our 3 older boys and they enjoyed it immensley. The process of booking was simple and quick and the staff were all extemely helpfull and polite.
