Philipsburg

On your way back to the port or hotel, you can choose to end your tour in Philipsburg, the shopping capital of the Caribbean. This duty-free town is the capital of Dutch St. Maarten and features Front Street and Back Street, which are lined with shops. To the south, you'll find Great Bay Beach and the Boardwalk, which is home to a variety of restaurants serving local cuisine and lively bars. Philipsburg is just 20 mins walk away from from the cruise port, and guests can easily walk or take a water taxi back.

Full day Tour : This tour gives you a full introduction to both the Dutch and French sides of the Island. Its 5 to 6 hours tour.
Duration: 6 hours: Port Pickups will be at 9.30am sharp. Hotel pickups will start at 8.15am.

A very complete tour, better than the ones offered by our Cruise ship. Nice people, enough time at each of the many stops, nice catamaran cruise and swim opportunity. Included lunch and rum punch. This is the one if you want a full-day tour. Not expensive, either.

Nice vehicle. Informative driver .sunita cars did well . Value for money.top tip ..remember to tell driver your ship departure time .. there were two princess ships leaving at different times.on our bus .the traffic gets bad and they need to allow for this to get you back on time..which they did!

Great value for money .sunita tours fab. Good info on tour. Be sure your guide knows what time your ship leaves..the traffic gets 'bad'..and like us you may have a different departure time to others on the tour. They get you back in plenty of time.!!

Our guide gave us a wonderful tour of both sides of the island. He was extremely knowledgeable and filled us with information the entire time. He brought us everywhere. You could possibly want to go. Highly recommend the tour.

Raj is a patient and kind tour guide with a deep historical knowledge of both sides of Sint Maarten. He took us to see both the historical landmarks and the beautiful vistas. He knew all the best restaurants for authentic French and Dutch food, where the best local vendors for art and crafts were located, and had personal friendships with people all over the island. More than once we heard, "I love Raj, take $15 off". We also witnessed him give a personal favor to each couple in our party. He went to one couple's AirBNB to pickup a broken laptop AND knew the only place on the island to have it repaired. Another couple he took directly to the airport to save them a taxi fare, and for us he waited patiently when our Carnival cruise ship came in more than hour late. Anyone who says he didn't wait, that pickup was too far away, they are a suffering from a lack of personal accountability. We had six people from our ship who missed the tour and blamed him for their slothfulness. We cannot recommend this tour and this company more highly. We saw Sint Maarten in a whole new light, the height and essence of traveling and touring.
