Philipsburg
On your way back to the port or hotel, you can choose to end your tour in Philipsburg, the shopping capital of the Caribbean. This duty-free town is the capital of Dutch St. Maarten and features Front Street and Back Street, which are lined with shops. To the south, you'll find Great Bay Beach and the Boardwalk, which is home to a variety of restaurants serving local cuisine and lively bars. Philipsburg is just 20 mins walk away from from the cruise port, and guests can easily walk or take a water taxi back.

Looking down on Great Bay Beach, the view is pure postcard perfection. The arc of golden sand is a striking contrast to the deep blue of the water, which seems to shimmer with a hundred different shades of turquoise

Full day Tour : This tour gives you a full introduction to both the Dutch and French sides of the Island. Its 5 to 6 hours tour. Duration: 6 hours: Port Pickups will be at 9.30am sharp. Hotel pickups will start at 8.15am. Pickup included

5.00My husband and I enjoyed the two island tour. We appreciated it being a small group and enjoyed learning more about the island. Fortunately, the traffic was good the day we went, so we had a little extra time at each stop. Would recommend for a nice overview of the island.

5.00Exceptional tour by far.Our tour guide Rollin was extremely courteous and gave us a detailed history lesson of the island.Every place we stopped and every place in between was explained to us.The only problem was I think we should have had more time on the French side to explore and time to enjoy a lunch of our choice.I would definitely recommend this tour and will do it again next year with my family just for the history lesson alone.Thankyou for a wonderful experience

5.00Raj did an excellent job on history of the area. Very knowledgable! We were able to see the Dutch side and the French side and the differences. Plenty of beach time and loved that we got to see planes land at Maho Beach next to the airport.

5.00Our driver from our tour was Raj! Raj was super knowledgeable about the island we got to see many cool things and he definitely left us tons of time and opportunity for photos and wandering different areas of the island. He definitely knew his history about the area. Would def do this tour if you want great pictures and a comfortable ride around the island!

We learned so much about out the differences between the Dutch & French sides of the island. We Also learned about the economy, real estate, everyday living & even auto imports & sales.
