Philipsburg
On your way back to the port or hotel, you can choose to end your tour in Philipsburg, the shopping capital of the Caribbean. This duty-free town is the capital of Dutch St. Maarten and features Front Street and Back Street, which are lined with shops. To the south, you'll find Great Bay Beach and the Boardwalk, which is home to a variety of restaurants serving local cuisine and lively bars. Philipsburg is just 20 mins walk away from from the cruise port, and guests can easily walk or take a water taxi back.

5.00Excellent tour. Major stops at Marigot and Orient Beach and the famous Maho Beach for the videos with the largest airlines along with several stops for photos. Raj is a great guide and very knowledgeable about the island. Bus was clean and well air conditioned and appeared well maintained. It is a great experience and you get a good feel for the two sides of the island.

5.00I had an amazing time with Sunita Tours St Maarten and couldn’t have asked for a better experience on my birthday. Our guide was very knowledgeable and shared so much about the island’s history, culture, and special spots, which made the tour even more enjoyable. Everything was well organized, relaxed, and fun, and I truly enjoyed every moment. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting St. Maarten .

5.00Wonderful tour - Raj absolutely loves to share his love and pride for life in St Maarten, and makes the entire tour fun, easy-going and informative. Stops were unique, well-timed and great ways to get a sense of life, and Raj offered energetic and enjoyable commentary on history, government, and daily life in the island. 5.00Raj is great for this tour guide business. He is very responsive to all my questions before we arrive at the port. He always answered immediately. He kept 22 people on the bus entertained while giving interesting information about the island. We had a great time with Raj! Will definitely recommend Raj for touring St. Maarten!

5.00Very professional and courteous guide who has a lot of knowledge about the island, the people, and the culture. It's a very comprehensive tour -- great to get the lay of the land. The stop at Orient Beach was a nice place to relax and get a bite to eat. I would have enjoyed a little more time in Marigot, it's amazing how quickly 45 minutes will pass by. There were a number of quick stops for views that were very nice, but if I were to tailor this tour, I would concentrate on Orient Beach, Marigot, Maho, and maybe Front Street in Phillipsburg. With that said, it was a lovely way to see the island and the bus was very clean, air conditioned, and cozy. Our guide was very attentive to the needs of my mother, too, who is 82 and needed a little assistance in and out of the bus. 5 star service!

1.00We were excited to come to St. Maarten for one reason- to see Maho Beach and the plane flyover. Raj was aware that there were 5 ships in and started complaining about traffic from the beginning. He did not adjust anything so we could go to Maho Beach. At one point he remarked “I didn’t think we could make it there today.” We would have cancelled our trip and another way to go to Maho. He said December and January were bad months to come to St. Maarten- not a good remark for a tour operator! No Maho Beach today! Poor judgement by this company. Stay away from them in December and January!

5.00Raj was helpful, energetic, and excited to share his home island. Plainly said, I just had a fun day. Despite it being hot (upper 80's in December), the vehicle had the AC going all the time and was super comfortable. I learned a ton about the island. It felt like Raj was a fountain of knowledge. Plus we ended the day at Maho Beach, which was just plain fun. Thanks for what was my best excursion of ky cruise!
