Philipsburg
On your way back to the port or hotel, you can choose to end your tour in Philipsburg, the shopping capital of the Caribbean. This duty-free town is the capital of Dutch St. Maarten and features Front Street and Back Street, which are lined with shops. To the south, you'll find Great Bay Beach and the Boardwalk, which is home to a variety of restaurants serving local cuisine and lively bars. Philipsburg is just 20 mins walk away from from the cruise port, and guests can easily walk or take a water taxi back.

Looking down on Great Bay Beach, the view is pure postcard perfection. The arc of golden sand is a striking contrast to the deep blue of the water, which seems to shimmer with a hundred different shades of turquoise

Full day Tour : This tour gives you a full introduction to both the Dutch and French sides of the Island. Its 5 to 6 hours tour. Duration: 6 hours: Port Pickups will be at 9.30am sharp. Hotel pickups will start at 8.15am. Pickup included

He was exceptionally knowledgeable sharing fascinating history and insights about the island. Beyond his expertise, he was very personable & ensured everyone was comfortable and having fun. He convinced us to return to the island for another longer visit. If you visit Sint Martin this tour is an absolute must

4.00I can really tell Raj enjoys his job and has love for the island. Very knowledgeable and professional. Van was clean and cool but a bit tight for a big guy like me. 6’2. Raj had good timing and was very prompt and clear with his instructions. The only drawback was most things we saw were pretty much like things we saw on other cruise stops, so kinda boring. The highlight was watching the planes at Maho beach fly overhead. Unique! Good trip but content was repetitive for me.

4.00The tour guide was utterly amazing. He was knowledgeable, happy, and educational about both sides of the island. It’s a small feel on the island. I appreciated the tour guide a lot, so thorough I may not need to take a trip for a few years.

5.00Raj did a really good job taking us around the island. explaining the history of the island and the geography plus other interesting facts. We did several stops, were able to do some shopping and get some lunch at a local eatery. Definitely would recommend him.
